Well essentially my empire has crumbled in the span of a few days. My queen was almost assasinated, and everyone is in revolt. If you can't intervene, can you please help keep everyone else out of conflict? Like I was talking about before, I will drop a virus on anyone that tries to take my revolting planets. If you think you can survive one measly virus attack, you're in for a real treat, because I have more.

 

I don't think that it would be possible for us to send armed forces because the Humanists would outright oppose it. The Federalists would be against it, and the Tories would *probably* consider it. We will, however, guarantee that we will not claim any of your worlds, and we will make sure that our allies don't annex your land. Besides that, your aquatic environment would be disadvantageous to any units that we can muster. It'd be like shooting fish in a lake.

Project Durendal progresses as planned. the 3 foot thick armour on the drones should prove strong enough to deflect most any projectile weapon, and they're fueled by miniature quark fusion generators so they have the capacity to support such a huge amount of armour. And since they have a massively powerful energy supply, they're just as fast as normal Icarus drones. Just about 25-30x bigger is all. They're also being waterproofed and reverse engineer-proofed.

 

Also, since firing ships at planets is illegal, and firing one of these at a planet would also be illegal, all my troop drop pods somehow cause little damage upon hitting the ground.

(With normal drop pods, people want to avoid BSing the environment by slamming multiple tons of metal at a planet, but that wouldn't affect me, so I'm making sure I don't have hypervelocity planet destroyer weapons that release troops as well)

Construction of habitat improvements on Earth, and all Tefarn and Centauri colonies is complete. They are now impenetrable unless you have their exact location, and lots and lots of explosives. Also, the water is now 100% recycled, and internally contained so nothing can get in from the surface. The internal atmosphere is the same. The power is gained from geothermal, and cold fusion sources.

TFed is sending soldiers and Beta Fleet to the Litch homeworld. Military forces on Earth are also on alert, in case the Licht have any problems there as well.

 

Also probably not a good idea to threaten biological warfare. The last person that did that got insta-destroyed by every player in the game.

Earlier this week the Licht Empire was shaken to its very core when a new Militaristic leader rose to power in the Capith system. The new Queen has declared her intention is to put males back in their proper place and to export traditional values to the lesser developed races. The plan has recieved widespread support from the inhabitiance of the Capith system, with both major planets revolting and joining this new empire.

On Earth though the Licht territory of Japan has also revolted, however this one is a revolt, by democracy! Reports are coming in of widespread executions though as female commanders try to raise a defence against the new regime, however these insurrections have been crushed. "Female are being brainwashed to worship the inferior sex! And we for one will not tolerate it!" said the new Queen. Information from within Japan suggests that females are being force though re-education programs. Japan has also called for the Terran Federation to help their fledgling democracy to florish. Is this a trap? We don't know, the males might be just like the females of this water speices or they might be completely different.

 

In Meoxo an uneasy alliance between the Democractists and the loyal faction, currently known as the Monarchists, has made sure peace has remained.

 

On Erikio though the two factions are working closely together after an attack on the elected government after they authorised the use of nerve gas to suppress the male population. The Queen stepped in to prevent it's continued use and has dissolved the body and is now attempting to reform the election system, too which she has been rumoured to have appealed to the Britannic Empire for advice.

 

The Military has mostly remained loyal, except on the planets and colonies that have fully revolted.

 

This bomb has been quietly simmering for the past decade, ever since the Queen first reformed the election system, after the male population became more conscience of politics for some unknown reason. With traditional values destroyed insensitively many females quietly looked for a way to undermine this travesty of a system, but recently came to the conclusion that only by getting rid of the corrupt Queen could the Empire be saved. With a three way civil war in the making the Militopian games look to be overshadowed next year.

Thanks but.... you do realize over 40 billion people are revolting. Dusty, this is a strange request, but please kill everyone in Japan. My loyalists are fleeing to Grim's territory (thanks in advance). I may give everyone a virus vaccine so I can virus bomb Japan... or I could just virus bomb Japan. I don't know, but this queen is in dire straits, and queens with a billion viruses is not a safe queen for the world. :)

Yeah, but miletary help is not an option as my weapons are all relying on electricity, and electricity and salt-water don't mix, at least not in a desired manner here.

In other news about a third of the minor planets declare independance and begin to build Space Guns to take down any invading force. The other colonies also begin construction of Space Guns.

I'd just like to note Archi, that my invading force has already landed. They were already in warp a while ago, and I said they slowed down yesterday. Since the space guns are still being built, my forces should land without opposition.

Fair enough. 74% of the minor planets are exterminated entirely. The others detonate atomspheric explosives, wrecking the planets entirely.

1. I wasn't aware that my invasion force was destroyed. Capiah only had a weak orbital defence ring, which can be passed by going under it. Also noting, Capiah never had a stock of vaccine. No one even knew about the virus, much less the vaccine.

 

2. They won't mind. Who would they rather have: a stable military presence of an ally or... 50 billion insurgents running through the world and attacking everyone. Besides, if they won't let me land my military forces, I'll have to virus bomb Japan with a virus that is cross-species. Hmmmmmm, I wonder what they'll choose.

It's already been virus-bombed. I just don't know what happened as a result of that virus bomb. Also, people had a shade of a clue that the government had a virus, but most were probaly derided as conspiracy theorists or nutjobs. Well, here we are :thumbsup:
