Hmm. I will consider it, Dusty. I'll just escort my athletes with members of the Royal Guard, which is guaranteed to not cause any riots, if I participate. They are well-trained and chivalrous military-style police officers. If need be, some of the Guardsmen can help maintain the games by keeping the possibility of riots at a bare minimum.

 

Regardless, athletes are being trained for as many categories as possible.

Haha, same here. Only three kids signed up for French III, so we were thrown into a French II class. Our teacher sucks at teaching, and she spends most of her time helping the French II kids. I haven't taken a French class since 10th grade, so I need someone to help me remember some things. It's so pitiful that when we had a Russian substitute that happened to be fluent in French, she was extremely angry because no one taught us some basic grammar dealing with "ce qui", "ce que", and "ce dont". She's right, though. The school system (hell, even the national level) is pitiful. It embarrasses the hell out of me because my French is lacking.

In other news a research station has been built, this is controlled by twenty scientist goa'ulds and fifty jaffa guards, this is be sent into space between Met'al, Meoxo, Imezon and Capiah, away from any gravity well(removing speed-down time). Here a Hyperdrive will be researched, this will allow ships to enter and exit a small dimension known as hyperspace in order to reduce the ammount of space needed to be travelled by a hundred-fold, this can be used inside gravitywells and thus will remove two years from the time needed for the same distance in warp. Anyone who wish can bring Scientists(and guards if they wish, however only firearms and melee weapons may be brought(in order to prevent unpleasant "situations")), if you do that will help lower the research time and you will also gain the technology.

Current ETA 80 years.

I lived in Quebec for 3 years, in Montreal (Verdun), I'm in Toronto now though.

I've allready ready sent a station there also the trip will only take 1.(something) years because there's no gravity well to enter.

 

1. I controll all of Imezon(or actually 5/6 considdering we share Grav Ødeland), but it doesn't matter since the location was only random(only out of gravity well is important).

2. That will be decided later if anyone wants it.

3. It was allowed with sufficient research time(which is lowered the more people join).

Mather, your research is irrelevant, that's essentially how our current space travel system already works. If you use the new material (Duna) you can travel anywhere within 50 ly within a year, be happy to have that.

Remember people, if you join the research you will have access to a tech which would be much further ahead than it would be if you join.

The next to join will lower time down to thirty years, then there's twenty, fifteen, ten, seven and five(lowering more would be rediculus)!

Yes, but that requires a supply of Duna and is limited at some point. But hyperdrives can be improved to go intergalactic in less than a year, if neccessary.
