I hate people on runescape. I'm assuming the younger age group is a large portion of the people I hate, but who can tell.

If I'm not as good as someone I'm a noob, I fail, I'm bad at this game.

 

If I'm better than someone I'm a nerd, geek, never had a girlfriend, live in a basement, I'm sure alot of you have heard different varieties of these types of things before.

 

 

 

The fact is noone knows anyone else in this game, and to come across someone you have to be a runescape player yourself. And to come across me, you would have to be a paying member, which makes calling me a nerd absolutely ridiculous. Why can't people just acknowledge someone as a good runescape player or a bad player. Why must we be called nerds if we're good? I'm a perfect example because I KNOW I'm not a geek with no life.

 

 

 

That's exactly why I get the Rune Rage. People don't know people, yet they assume that if you're good, you don't have a life. I'm assuming this is mostly the younger age group being incredibly immature, but I know for a fact that doesn't apply for all young players, and I know there are older runescapers that do not possess any maturity/respect when they get on and start talking trash.

 

 

 

Ignore feature fixes this problem, but I really hate to use it. I am usually pretty patient with people like this, but today I was called a nerd atleast 3 times today. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :evil:

I think I've stated something along the lines that I hate being called a nerd based just upon the fact that I'm better than some guy in a rune set with dmed and dlong

Problems like these are usually instigated. I've only had this problem a few times throughout rs and it's nothing to rage about, just keep on keeping on.

People are like that everywhere, not just RS. They will always find ways to bring you down, even if it means to contradict themselves. It just goes to show the validity of their insults.

the people that call you a n00b are the nerds in runescape. and the people that call you a nerd are trying to find a way to compensate for their incapability to play runescape.

Of course you get annoyed when someone insults you, its human nature.

It kind of depends on who insults you... I mean, if it's someone you love - of course you're going to care, but on the other hand if it's someone completely random (and anonymous) you really shouldn't let it get to you, although understandable if it does.

Yeah, but see, we're special cases. You know the typical RuneScape player - too lazy to type out "nerdboyxxx" or "nerdattack16" when "nerd" works fine.
