No Update Week

Oh looky, another week with no update, but next week they got something for us.

 

 

 

I for one cannot wait to see what piece of awful bug riddled, crapdate we're gonna get next week.

 

 

 

Maybe if we're lucky it'll be another quest that we finish in 20 minutes? :pray:

I'll be glad when them changing a whip animation is properly classifed as a glorified Patch Note and not a "upgrade."

Uhh? The whip looked like crap. It was a bunch of magically floating sausages before the update. Now it at least has some decent graphics.

I don't bash good content. When they release something good I'll have nothing to complain about.

 

 

 

As far as paying them. I'm gonna try doing 3 months no members, then a month of members and do what updates have accumulated. Unfortunately, during the first 3 months, I had nothing to do when I got back, not even a quest.

 

 

 

And yes, I'm whining. It'a a rant forum. I'm tired of small - medium BS updates, and then weeks without even those, and that time being spent on *more* small - medium BS updates.

 

 

 

And if you people think I bash everything, did I bash the new slayer monster or pub, did I bash the crafting/fletching pots, or the agility courses?

 

 

 

You just people hate when other players aren't marking out to the game and spending their time kissing the rings of the mods.

I hope it 2010 they wind the upgrades down and go back to producing a regular flow of good, solid content.

As I've said before, Jagex releases their content out to the world as unbugged as possible but throwing something like a new minigame or something that changes the system will always produce bugs. They release the content and then work to get rid of the bugs. You, as a player, basically are testing it. And Jagex, as the gods of the land, are fixing what you complain about and what they find wrong.

what I don't understand is that as far as I can remember, we never had weekly updates. Sure there were news with players gallery and letters, but no new content weekly.

The rant is about low quality updates being released even with an extra week between. But they cannot fully debug it without fully integrating it into the game, if I'm not mistaken.

I opened this thread slightly angry. I was thinking it would be another stupid rant about nothing. After reading what you've said I agree. Why do they take the week off? Is it just vacation time, because some of the updates are still quite small and bugged.

 

 

 

Perhaps they are working on something big and just throwing our updates together to pass the time to the big one?
