Tim
This is a first for me. Last quest (That WASN'T a filler): 21st July Last Decent Update to the game: 28th July Most of August: Bumming around with advertisements like the Machinima Competition, Andrew's Live Q&A (Oh thats right, It got moved),Mark Garrand / Player Support Q&A of which half the questions got dodged, FunOrb advertising, a quick Filler-in Quest and lastly A Menagerie thats layout is stupid and a few annoying controls to Summoning Familiars. Quite frankly all I can say is: "Pull your head out of the sand Jagex for god's sake. :| Popoto.~<
Orioles8
...and here's the new update For all the flashy talk and 3 seperate news posts, all it really contained is this: 1.) Magic is now more noob friendly to use. 2.) Certains Staves now cause +10% Magic Damage 3.) Your stable junk is no longer stable. *~72,749th to 99 Attack on 9 September 2009~*

They still havn't made it up to PK'ers for removing the old wilderness, and despite the improvements to autocasting mage still needs some serious help, not to mention this new skill that is supposedly headed our way... *~72,749th to 99 Attack on 9 September 2009~*
Me_Hate_Libs
Personally, I can care less about Pkers and what happened to the Willderness. PVP is more than good enough. Though I don't like how spend time they spent on creating it. Still, they don't have to make anything else up to Pkers and I'm tired of hearing about it. And if you only plauy this game for 1 or 2 reasons, you're gonna be disappointed when those things are changed. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd. polyvoree
This new update that we were waiting a week for, is pretty [bleep] . Apart from the magic book update, everything else is rubbish. I have to play in a different mode, the new cursor thing (I can change it) but it makes everything so.. stupid. I mean, an apple when you highlight food..? I know sometimes you click it by accident, but like that will help.

Some of it is a little extraneous, but trust me, this new engine is just what we need to drive the car we call Runescape. ... right over a cliff with MMG behind the wheel. #-o This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd. Ravenkana
Worst part about the update is the new freakin' personalized shops. It has DESTROYED bolting, Summoning, and anything else that requires, or is most efficient, shop stock. The increased power of the stave's is nice, but the autocasting thing just makes hybriding even easier. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
Dirkmetal
No the worst part is that safe spotting has been 'nerfed', there is another rant thread that goes more into detail about this.
quelmotz
This week's update was really one of the largest and best so far, so quit nitpicking on small things. The new game engine makes the game much more smooth and convenient. So what if it's more noob-friendly? Does it kill you that some noobs won't keep begging you for help any more? The autocasting thing was quite ok IMO. It gave magic some extra power it had deserved, but still magic is far behind the other few combat types in power. I couldn't care less about the personalised shops, but it causing the relaxation of price limits in the GE was good. Click here for an awesome suggestion to revive smithing! Me_Hate_Libs
I have yet to range with the new safespots as I don't range much and never combat mage. Shop prices don't really affect me sinceI often get everything for myself. I'm pretty unaffected by all this. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd. unkn0wnwarrior
I only range to keep it on par with my other lowest levels. Otherwise it would still be down around 60.

I NEVER PvP, so guess what I do with those stats? I safe spot, so no this is not merely nitpicking. Just because you do not care about shops does not mean that others think the same as you. Now if you'll excuse me I have some more lurking to do.
Jaffy1
I don't bash good content. When they release something good I'll have nothing to complain about.Really? It seems to me that you actually need to be complaining about the little things too. Upgrade year or whatever, I've been playing RuneScape since 2004 and I still find gameplay similarly challenging as it was then. I don't see the extremely outrageous problem that appears to be bugging you so much.. Or is that your thing? As far as paying them. I'm gonna try doing 3 months no members, then a month of members and do what updates have accumulated. Unfortunately, during the first 3 months, I had nothing to do when I got back, not even a quest. And yes, I'm whining. It'a a rant forum. I'm tired of small - medium BS updates, and then weeks without even those, and that time being spent on *more* small - medium BS updates.Well I am sure that when there's a big update you'll be ranting about that too. I can understand that you want more/better or whatever, but Jagex are people too you know! It's not like they just snap their fingers and you can have what they want. -.- And if you people think I bash everything, did I bash the new slayer monster or pub, did I bash the crafting/fletching pots, or the agility courses? You just people hate when other players aren't marking out to the game and spending their time kissing the rings of the mods. So this to assume that I ever wanted people kissing my rings? I'm glad my days as a mod have passed, because I mainly got bothered by people for insignificant things that may or may not have annoyed or puzzled them. :wall: I wonder how many of you are trying to decide who's more like Jesus. Obama or Mark Gerhard?Jesus, obama and Mark Gerhard can't be compared like that. The only purpose that sentence serves is to show us you're frustrated by something and trying to provoke an arguement. How most mature indeed. Please don't get stepped on your toes. I was surprised someone said you're a girl. Tip.It Website Crew Leader[hide=Quotes]I love it how Jafje comes outa nowhere and answers my questionsHehe now we know what real life does...drugs, drugs, more drugs. Thank god we are addicted to something that won't kill us. [/hide]
