Honestly, just don't ask touchy questions that could be considered offensive (in idiotic ways, but still offensive) by religious people. Religion and stuff are touchy matters, and we should just respect them and leave them alone.

Thing is I like asking question a lot, I wouldn't mind getting flamed after asking for evidence like the OP did. It would just re-inforce my opinion on the matter.

Err...yeah, because there's no rational evidence that there IS a god, (wait-read the second part before you flame me) but on the other hand, theres' no rational evidence that there ISN'T a god either.

Yep very well put. No flaming needed. From my point of view, all religions are either big hoaxes, some stories that got "twisted" by time or entirely genuine. Since I'm an atheist, I'd mostly think they are the first and second option.

How did genes and stuff got programmed in the first place? How did life come about? What sparked off the "big bang"?

 

 

 

These questions are still some of the greatest mysteries in science probably. But it still doesn't support the religious people, because there is no evidence that god DID do all these things.

I myself believe in whatever i see for myself or has been proven to be correct... God hasn't in any way benefitted me during my life so I in turn do not believe in him ( don't say god's gift to me was living -.- )

Yeah, true. These are all very touchy topics, which people will immediately switch into "flame mode" if they're proved wrong and can't reply adequately.
