Well here is my predicament.. I have 97 range 99 defence... full void.. 21m access to any ranging weapon in the game but I have no idea what to range anymore.

 

 

 

I am going for 99 minus 1k exp so 98.9 if you will.. and right now I am at a loss as for what I want to range. Here is a list of things I have already done from 96-97.5...

I am looking pretty much for just fun things to range to keep me occupied on the way to 98.9 so that I don't get bored and break from RS again but then don't spend a ton of money as well. Also it would be nice to get 98.9 before August 26th as that is when my free-time gets cut down to next to nothing.

 

 

 

Next up I am thinking of doing 200 black dragons and 3-5 hundred Irons.. just to give you an idea of where I may go. Currently I am back at Tzhaar though trying to make another 2.3m in a 9 hour period (must of been a lucky day)

 

 

 

Is there any other fun monster out there that either yields decent exp rates with few good drops or bad exp rates (not bad like 5k/hour btw -.- ) with good drops (like blue drags)?

 

 

 

Just a quick note things I won't do include Dusties... Slayer.. Wyverns/Mith Drags and I am not going back to Avi's..

 

 

 

Also I am NOT going to chin since I pretty much don't have the money nor the will. (Had to emphasize the not for all those who are slow out there.)

Taking advantage of your HUGE defence and range levels, tanking would be a great option. As you have listed what you have tried - have you even tried tanking? ;)

There arent many things to range in this game - most are really obvious, but taking advantage of your levels and the 3.1k for a dragon bone, green dragons maybe?

Well as I said I don't have the money or the will to chin since I will need my money for future 98's to complete my big goal.

 

 

 

Range slayer really isn't my thing.. I like slayer but not ranging my tasks.

So far the only thing I got out of this was green drags but they get pretty crowded.. crowding is one of the things I am trying to avoid.

Tank range normal velds in meiyerditch dungeon, using void + 10% pray + ranging familiar + range pots. When I tried that at 82 range I got 72k xp/h, and didn't even lose much cause of their drops.

Black or Green Dragons? It seems you generally don't want to train on the most popular/best monsters. It makes it a bit hard to give suggestions. You could also range Cave Horrors.. there is even a safespot. I make about 1m/hr there with melee (unless black mask prices have fallen). It wouldn't really be much slower with range, but I don't believe the experience will be amazing. Test them out for an hour and see how you like it. It might only be 500k/hr with range due to being less kills/hr. Then again, maybe I just have great luck with them.

That's a good suggestion thanks.. I may just go to slayer tower and do regular Bloodvelds.. I forgot all about them.

Its not that I don't want to train at the popular/best places it's that I have already been there and done that and usually it was crowded. Also the best range exp/hour doesn't really matter to me.. if it did I would of chinned it already I just want different places to switch up the atmosphere and enjoy ranging with.

 

 

 

I will probably give cave horrors a try as I love to melee them on slayer tasks so why not range them.
