August 6, 200916 yr As some of you who were on last night may remember, i made a thread about abberant spectres where it became quite obvious i would need to get prosylyte armor. Well i got it, and i now wanna know if there are any other imporments i can make to boost the prayer bonus! Huge change from my melee gear right? :roll: I'd prefer to keep the black mask because that way i have the bonus stats to kill the spectres faster. Thanks for any help!
August 6, 200916 yr Explorer's Ring gives prayer bonus, you could use a stole if you wanted, and also use a god book if you preferred.

Apart from that, i'd say use a zamorak god book over the rune defender for a large pray bonus adn still worthwhile att bonus. Want to be my friend? August 6, 200916 yr That setup is fine. If you got the money maybe spend it on a God Cloak for a +3 prayer bonus. I would use the best RFD gloves as you're praying and don't need the healing from the Bracelet. As for the Defender vs Unholy Book, i would chose the Def. The faster kills make up for the small lack of prayer bonus. And you can easily pray flash them if you find that you need to. Unless of course you are cannoning a task, but i still keep to with what i said. Get the Slayer Helm as soon as you can. Once you get it use that plus a fury/glory for Spectres. Until then a nosepeg and Salve (e) works great. August 6, 200916 yr You can also take a Holy wrench with you, though it does cost an inventory spot (I don't know if it's worth that but you could try). My guide: Ring of Wealth explained 8 Dragon Boots (885 kills, 1/111, with RoW)
August 6, 200916 yr An option is also Fally Shield 3, which gives 7+ to Prayer last time I checked. But I don't know if you've done it, and I don't think you have. Try doing as much of the Fally diaries as you can. Yes... Yes, that's what he said. :D
August 6, 200916 yr I personally use my full zammy book over a rune defender when protect praying. Get a nosepeg; or you will die. Salve ammy is the best if you can't use a helm but the slayer helm with a fury is the best. Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.
