Atticux
All three bands are as poppy as each other. Haha, idiot. To the original poster: If you want a good band, try The Clash. Preview some of their songs on amazon.
E_D_G_E_1039
well kinda offtopic...why the hell did they add the 182? Cause an irish techno band called Blink threatened to sue em, they claim to be just a random number they thought up. They say the "f" word 182 times in Scarface...
Atticux
well kinda offtopic...why the hell did they add the 182? Cause an irish techno band called Blink threatened to sue em, they claim to be just a random number they thought up. They say the "f" word 182 times in Scarface... Hmm, there are many theories like this: ...Mark's ideal weight ...the number of miles between Mark's house and his girlfriend's ...the number of Mark's grandpa's race car ...the number of Mark's grandpa's boat in World War II ...the number of times Al Pacino says the f-word in Scarface ...the eighteenth letter in the alphabet is R. The second is B. 18 + 2 = RB, or Rancho Bernardo where Mark and Scott lived for years ...the number of times Mark masturbated (lube) to the paused image of Princess Leia in the Jabba slave girl outfit ...the number of times Tom masturbated (dryskin) to the image of the puppeteer dwarf inside Jabba's tail ...the number of talk shows Scott watched in the summer of '95 involving club kids ...the band members gave an explaination that the numbers 1, 8, and 2 add up to 11. That is the number the amp goes up to in Spinal Tap ...they also claimed it was from the flop 1985 movie "Turk 182" but later admitted the movie was too dumb to take the name of But this topic isn't about Blink 182 so meh. Mercifull
I dont wanna start an argument about which bands are in which genre, but linkin park is clearly NOT rock. all those bands are metal really. My friends never give me 8 CD's because they don't like the music. Also, I can't stand this genre discussion all these so called experts are having on the forum. We've been there, done that. In the end it comes down to the same thing: everybody had a nice fight while 'voicing their opinion', the topic gets locked and the topic starter still hasn't got a decent answer. Mercifull
but that doesnt mean you should go listen to the 80s because the 80s basically sucked I happen to quite like the 80's actually. granted its not as good at the rocking days of the 70's and the brit pop era in the 90's but its not completely awful Guns N' Roses, Depeche Mode, The Eagles, Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie and Clapton. How dare you wipe those artists away in a lame generalisation. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. I've only heard a few Depeche Mode, but they have that typical 80's sound that I'm not really into ([edit] the songs I heard of course[/edit]). When I think of the 80's I think more of U2, Genesis and of course the upcomming of rap music. [edit] And the other ones you've mentioned of course. Heard it in an episode of Smallville. :P
