God no, its so goddamn slow.

You're way better off just using oak planks with SC hammers if money is a concern.

Ok then, how so is Goddamn slow?

My friend would like to know, how much oak planks with sc hammers costs to 99?

I think Limestone fireplaces is like 5k-10k xp/hr. Not worth it. :?

Well, we don't know your friend's Construction XP/ level. So I'll assume that it's 50:

Level: Number of Planks -Gold (+ Butler cost/ + Demon butler cost) - Morphic hammers needed

50-74 Construction: 8,296 - 4,313,920 gold (+ ~260,000/+ ~440,000) - 20

74-99 Construction: 99,488 - 51,733,760 gold (+ ~3,110,000/+ ~6,220,000) - 235

Total:

50-99 Construction: 107,784 - 56,047,680 gold (+ ~3,370,000/+ ~6,660,000) - 255 Hammers

With the prices of Oak planks at 520 gold each (13th August 2009, 8:47 PM BST)

Hmm, I figured it would be like 40k xp an hour

Thanks sooo much for the details you included! 55mil with hammers seem like a pretty price to pay.

As for the other Smarty pants here, he DID NOT tell me how to get the number of planks. Doing oak larders require more then 1 and I DO NOT know that number, and i asked nicely for someone to provide it for me while I looked into other methods. THEREFORE making me far from lazy. Aswell as you posting off-topic so GF.(End of my rant)

Is that your excuse for yourself?

1) If you've always used Zybez, why don't you post this there and get your anwser?

2) You said you were searching hard, but if it didn't occur to you to check more than 1 site for calculators, then you obviously didn't try very hard.

3) You can easily look up the planks per larder in Zybez construction guide, which their calculator links to.

4) If you use SwiftKit, their calculator tells you the planks needed and that calculator is taken from the Zybez site. Therefore, that option should be on the Zybez calculator, if you searched for it.

I really don't think there is any excuse for the simple research and math required for this...

If you can get to 99 Cons on limestone alone, you are a better man than I am. I am having enough motivational problems using oak planks.

I suggest training combat on a plank-dropper to ease the financial pain. Some of those can drop teak planks, which can be a big help in picking up the construction pace.

Hmm, I don't want to cause trouble with you. The reason im not using zybez is becuase I love the community here, but you have to ruin it?

Anyways, back to the topic, if anyone has the XP rates for limestone stuff, pleaseeee post them as I don't have them yet

Fine, but how am I ruining the community? I'm telling you to not be lazy and do some of the easy stuff yourself...

I think someone said earlier it was 40k xp/hour.

If you used a butler, also remember you have to consider the butler's cost. They demand pay every 11 actions, I believe. (An action counts as anything you ask them to do, talking doesn't count, but having them unnote limestone would count, for example.) Don't forget that cost, as it adds up extremely quickly.

Oak Planks on SC hammers cost me around 55m. Looking back I'd say it wasn't worth it because everything you unlock in the higher levels pretty much costs well in the millions to add, so I'm stuck with a nice cape, but a lame house. :wall:

Yes, train on a plank droppper, preferentially the top one of the list...

I think you'd rather train on the thing that makes the best money/hour, and use it to buy planks.
