DragonSam
Hi, Sorry if this has already been covered, I did a search for "quest items". Basically, my bank is full and the largest section is my quest items - keys, books, bits of stone, tickets, scraps of paper, maps or instructions, all those individual items that you need as you go along in a quest. My question is, how do you judge which to throw away? All of them? All except weapons, or magically useful ... or what? Best drop so far: Dragon Chainbody from a Dust Devil. intervention
Most quest items are never used again and if they are then they're easy to get back. unless you have used it since the quest then dump it because you won't use it.
Gin_and_Tonic
Keep Glorial's Amulet and Tablet. The Shiny Key from Temple of Ikov can be kept. Other than that, theres not a huge amount you'll need. Like intervention said, they're easy to get back if you need.
transcript80
If you have al least 1 set of book shelves in your POH, you can dismiss al of the quest related books. You can easily reclaim them in your house. Beads of the dead cannot be re-obtained, so keep those (if you want). I'm not sure you can get the bull roarer (legends quest) back after the quest. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
Zaaps1
There are three guidelines to follow: -check if that item is used in many mini-quests, side-quests, or later quests. If it is, keep it. An example is the Book of the Dead from Missing My Mummy, which is used to keep track of the Queen's Completion after the quest, until you get it to 100%. -If it appears you cannot reobtain it and it is equipable, keep it. Example: Hazeel's Mark. If it appears difficult to reobtain, keep it. Example: Greegree -If it can teleport, keep it Example: Ectophial Anything else you can throw away. If the occassion arises that you need it, you can easily (in most cases) get it back. ~It's Super Effective! They've recently fixed the bull roarer gaffe; you can have multiples now. Cantristenon
Every useful key you can store into key ring that you get after completing One small favor quest. After that quest you can also talk to the person you get that keyring and give to him your p2p quest junk (not sure if he searches bank) If you like the look of some quest outfit/other items you can equip, keep, otherwise you can throw them away (jester costume, fixed device, rat pole, bonesack etc, 10th squad sigil). Also, if you can store something into your costume room, keep it (mourner's gear, for example). Keep amulets, there is good chance they will be used in future quests or somewhere else (monkeyspeak ammy, armadyl pendant, catspeak ammy, camulet, ghostspeak ammy and 10th.I would also keep Jennica's ring and ring of charos (a) is good to have too. Sapphire lantern you can also keep.. Like someone said darklight and excalibur are good idea to keep. Depends of course what you are doing, they are pretty easy and cheap to reobtain anyway. Just make sure you know where to get something back before you drop/destroy it.
aspeeder
If it has a drop option it may be difficult/impossible to reclaim, but if it has a destroy option not only can you see where to reclaim it from but if it's useful (That's a fix I was hoping JaGeX would do this year, change it so most quest items have a destroy option instead of drop). EDIT: For Beads of the Dead someone said that they are unobtainable, but the Tip.It notes say: "This should be a good protection against Rashiliyia if you ever find her Tomb. Can be sold in Shilo Village to Yanni Salika for 1,000 gp at end of quest. If you lose or sell these you can buy them from Yanni Salika for 1200 gp." So drop them if they're taking up space. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots

This is true. But be sure to hold on to your bone key from Shilo Village in case you ever want to go back to the cavern where you had the final fight, because there is no way to get that back that I'm aware of. The sigil from Shadow of the Storm is very cool and I don't think there is a way to get another after the quest, even if you save your sigil mould. You can't wield it so it isn't as fun as during the quest but it still will chant, I believe.

It does chant, and gets some funny reactions in certain places. If you've done all the quests, dump the books, and anything else you can easily reobtain. Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it. Suggestions appreciated This guide is as concise as a gourmet's handbook with the guidelines of "Pick up fork, stab food, insert into your mouth, then chew".
