Money through combat?

well i would like to bump up the amount of cash i have by a good amount (maybe 5m), and the only ways that are fun to me are combat related. here is what i have so far and the problems (if any) i have with them.

 

 

 

barrows (only about 2 chests per trip, long trips because i dont have any of the quests done)

 

slayer (slow to get a decent amount)

 

camping ( dont usually like to stay in one place very long)

 

bosses ( dont really have the levels to solo, and i hate trying to figure out a team)

 

 

 

any other ideas? stats are in sig and i have about 1.4m to work with (will sell whip if i WILL mak it back)

ya...i know i have pretty much eliminated all the good money makers...but is there one that i missed? or are tere better ways to some stuff? i know i probanly dont do barrows very effectivly (sp?)

You could either do the quests to do barrows and start doing that, just train slayer and to get some more money on the side do herb farming runs and MTK, get used to camping and do that at tzhaar or aviantese, or powerlevel to be able to do bosses effectively (If you do that at armoured zombies then you will gain a little bit of cash as well). Really you're asking for a method of money making that is combat related with low level reqs and a low boredom factor; that's some pretty high standards, and even if a method like that existed it would be crowded beyond all belief.

One that I might suggest would be the Brine rat. It is very low-leveled(70), only requires partial completion of a quest(Olaf's Quest), and drops a lot of death runes, noted sharks and lobsters, and a good amount of charms, mostly gold. You might even get lucky and get a brine saber drop. :)

 

 

 

It might be a camper, but camping is your only choice if money's what you're looking for.

Don't forget about Green Dragons. Not so much camping as killing for 10-15 mins then banking and just repeating over and over. Its great money but I can't really stand having to do all the moving.

They are excellent money. With my stats I make just over 400K an hour, having to bank around 3-5 times. Definitely suggest doing these. Really doesn't feel like you're camping, trust me :thumbsup:

And ya slayer is ok, not the great of a profit or exp. But if you plan on doing might as well do it not. But having maxed stats might also make it fun.

Green Dragons are a great source of cash i made about 10 mil in 2 weeks playing 4 hours a day.

 

 

 

I suggest best melee armour and a whip and or d scim if training str.

 

 

 

Suggested inventory is 6-10 monkfish depending on level.

 

BUT DON'T forget that games necklace

For something nice and easy try brine rats. 25 minutes got me 97k, so about 200k per hour if drops are consistent. Loot was:

 

 

 

54 air rune

 

76 water rune

 

184 earth rune

 

98 death <--- perhaps as good as ankous for this rune?

 

18 raw rat meat

 

18 raw pike

 

60 raw lobster

 

28 raw shark

 

water talisman

 

 

 

All fish are noted! =D

I would third brine rats as a good campable monster (I hate to say it but camping = money). Additionally zammy warriors south of fire giants in CT are also a good farmable monster. Key with camping is to find a set of good money monsters and rotate between them. Also investing in MTK is a good idea, it will make you a lot more money they you might think.

Barrows is probably your best bet, but you might want to do the quests so you can do faster runs...
