It sure is, which is why I'm doing it the "free" way. I'm super glad Jagex decided to give us back the bone yard, probably one of the few greatest things Jagex have ever done in addition to dungeoneering, free trade, pking wildy, and a no-censor chat. :thumbup:

Heh heh, I went 100% f2p because I don't really have enough time to devote myself to playing membership all the time. Goals certainly are harder to achieve in free play, but hey, everyone likes a self-imposed challenge huh? ;)

I stumbled back on tif yesterday and I found out about some new hawt smithing thing you are doing ^^

I owe u big time, u made me get back into runescape for the first time I really played in months! :D

 

I'm going for 68 smithing now to, for that lumby hard!

What's the fastest way to train smith at the artisans? tracks or the armour stuff? :P

 

also not to forget, damm boy u made some great progress there! ^^

Heh heh, you finally came back to playing haven't you. :P Yeah it's true, Artisan's Workshop really motivated me to actively train smithing more than I have ever done.

 

The most effective way to train smithing at the Artisan's Workshop is to make burial armor. Take 4k iron ore (max you can take at a time), withdraw them as Iron ingot I, and make the piece of iron burial armor that Suak is instructing you to make. You get like 110xp a piece and it's fairly decent, 40k-ish xp/hr. The best part? It's not even 2gp/xp so it's an extremely cheap way to level up your smithing!

 

Tracks are 0gp/xp but the xp is like what? 5k xp/hr?

 

Yeah, crafting and prayer are gonna be a big pain to level up to 70. I'm currently at the bone yard, trying to make the best out of free prayer experience for now.

Finally a level.

 

 

Gonna take a break from prayer now and do some relaxing woodcutting with urns.

Well let's see... cooking, mining, smithing, fishing, and dungeoneering are what I have in mind for now. But first, I need to level up my other skills that are a bit behind first :P

I'm actually not crafting gold ammys atm. I'm just sticking with crafting protoleather bodies at the end of each dungeon I complete.

Thanks! For f2p combat I'm training it via dungeoneering, but when I'm over 90 combat I'll go back to training at the Stronghold of Security.

 

Another level! Add another combat level to the mix.
