Earlier this week, Osama from The Clan approached me for a PKRI this weekend. After a long streak of wins in matched wars and safe PKRI's, I felt it was time to test ourselves in a PVP PKRI, so I happily accepted. We agreed on a 2 hour cap PKRI, with all styles allowed (except blasts) and no corrupt items to be allowed, to be held between spider hill and greater demons. Although my best warlord would be unavailable for this fight, there were more than enough individuals who were willing to step up to the task. Dragonwood has been on a strong upward turn, and they didn't want to see our morale decrease.

 

We decided to start the fight on a foreign world, since NI had a track on 'The' (apparently they have a beef with The Clan). However, NI was still able to track TC, so we decided to fight them off until a proper AC arrived. At first we thought TT were coming, but they went to AC for EH instead. Therefore, TC called their ally The Gladiatorz to deal with NI. We started the fight at about 20 minutes after 4pm EST, with The Clan rushing us first. They managed to score a KO on one of our newer members, but we took down Tickle My Jiver pretty quick as well. For the first 20 minutes, it was fairly even, with strong binding and sniping from DW, and great transitions and pilecalling from TC. Soon enough, NI broke through our anti-crash, so we stopped the fight and chased them off. A few minutes later, TT arrived and forced NI to hop. Thanks for that Titans. <3

 

Afterwards, we restarted the fight with both clans at around 75 options each (more were returning after getting killed by NI). DW scored some nice pile transitions, giving us a strong lead for the next hour since TC's piles became much slower, while ours remained very strong. In the second half our binding ability began to drop since people were not getting killed enough and were running out of bind runes. At that point I grabbed six or seven people and went to the bank to stock up on binds, while the rest of DW continued to fight This gave TC a slight advantage, and they started to catch up. However, once our binding group returned, we regained control.

 

Towards the end of the fight a few NI showed up again to snipe, but we 1 hit a few of them and forced the others to run off. They were mainly focusing on TC, but there were not enough of them to make a difference (only 2-3 maximum). In the final moments, DW scored a nice string of KO's, killing about 10 people in 2 minutes. We mopped up the rest of TC and went to moss giants to take ending options. Thank you very much for the fight 'The," you are always a respectable and honorable opponent. We outpulled you a little bit today, but you still gave a strong fight. Next time we will have to organize AC ahead of time.

 

To Dragonwood, I'm proud of all you guys and girls for quick returning, strong binding, and keeping our ranged unit famous. Congratulations to you all, you earned this victory.
