If you have Guthans, use Duradel. It'll be much more worth it since the drops will be better.

You get more exp/task with Duradel... I'm guessing that's what you're asking?

If you plan on cannoning a lot of tasks, Sumona. Rest Duradel.

Duradel for the best Exp. Sumona isn't that much better for cannoning task as you can cannon most of Duradel's as well, just know how to do it.

The general consensus, I think, is that Duradel's tasks are better.

Would it be smart to use Vanakka for tasks 1-9 and then on 10 Duradel? OR just all tasks with duradel?

If you're worried about the number of slayer points you're getting, then go ahead and do Vanneka tasks in between Duradel. It really comes down to personal preference. I do slayer just for fun, and Sumona tends to give me more tasks that I enjoy. Duradel is better for experience though, if that's what you're looking for.

If you are doing Slayer as a means of getting charms aswell then Duradel is best because most of his tasks drop alot more crimsons than those of Sumona. Duradel and Sumona both have cannonable tasks, you just need to know what to do. Overall Duradel is better because his tasks are better for Exp, charms, points and Drops.

If you want to use the cannon loads of time, Sumuna, otherwise duradel.

If you want to use the cannon loads of time, Sumuna, otherwise duradel.

Duradel assigns the same amount of tasks that you can cannon. And those tasks tend to be better then the ones Sumona assigns.

@Gandalf14141: That's only if you want to rack up points fast and not to worried about your exp you get.

I suggest you get to at least 85 in all melee skills before having a go at duradel full time.

Important to consider which skills you're looking to develop. Duradel is the clear winner for melee training, Sumona outshines all masters for assigning tasks which can be readily ranged (and not just with that wasteful cannon!).

Personally, I use Duradel/Lapalok the most, but often switch up and give Sumona a visit when I go on a bad run or want a change of pace.

Like everyone else i also agree with the fact that duradel gives the best xp by far. I used summona from the time i did smoking kills(2 days after it initially came out) up til last week because she seems to give A LOT of Kurasks/Turoth tasks and even though turoths are good money i found that she seemed to give them to often for my likeing ,and plus Duradel gives tasks that i love to do like Dust Devils,Black Dragons, iron Dragons, and even Waterfiends. However, if your looking for strictly points i would use Vannaka or Canafis master( cant think of his name) for tasks 1-9 then duradel for task 10 and especially at tasks 50 when he gives out the big points.
