pokemama
If you've read the latest patch notes, you'll know that Jagex has made changes to keys in the game. Added more useful information on all keys in RuneScape especially the quest related ones.Based on history, we expect that they have changed examines. Maybe. The problem is finding out which ones, as there are lots of them! :P We have two item database categories for keys, to get a quick list. There are 41 regular keys and 87 quest keys. Quest keys are always the hardest to get, so if you have any of those, please check the examine against the one in our database. If we don't match what you see in game, let us know the new info! We will be sure to credit you. Thanks to anyone who can help out! - - - We HAVE updated information for the following: [hide]A key -Waterfall-A key to a chestA small keyAncestral keyBattered keyBlack key blackBlack key brownBlack key crimsonBlack key purpleBlack key redBone key -Shilo-Bone key -Necrovarus-Brass key (no change)Bronze key -HAM-Bronze key blackBronze key brownBronze key crimsonBronze key purpleBronze key redCavern key (Fenkenstrain)Cell door keyChest key -Digsite-Chest key -Pirate's Treasure-Columbarium key (Seergaze)Crystal key (no change) Crystal-mine keyDisplay cabinet keyDoor key -Witch's House-Dusty keyEnchanted keyFrozen key (Frem Trials)Glough's keyGoblin kitchen key -Observatory- (formerly Key -Observatory-!)Golden keyGrips' keyringIron key -HAM- (no change)Iron key -Peril- Jail keyJail key -Peril-Key -Biohazard-Key (Melzar - blue)Key (Melzar - green)Key (Melzar - magenta)Key (Melzar - orange)Key (Melzar - red)Key (Melzar - yellow)Key -Hazeel Cult- Key -smelly- (known in game as Grimy key)Key -Treasure Trail drawers- Key -Witch's shed-Key -Olaf circle-Key -Olaf cross-Key -Olaf square-Key -Olaf star-Key -Olaf triangle-Keys (from The Feud)Khazard cell keysLighthouse keyLoop of a key (no change)M sigilMaze keyMetal keyMiscellaneous keyMuddy key (no change)New keyOgre coffin keyPrison key -Pete- (random event)Ruby key (WGS)Seers' key (Frem Trials)Shed key -Fenkenstrain-Shiny keyShortcut keySilverlight key 1, 2 and 3Silver key -HAM- Silver key blackSilver key brownSilver key crimsonSilver key purpleSilver key redSinister key (no change)Steel key blackSteel key brownSteel key crimsonSteel key purpleSteel key redStoreroom key -Eadgar's Ruse-Strange implement (no change)Steel key -HAM-Strongroom keyTarnished keyTeeth of a key (no change)Temple library keyTower key (Fenkenstrain)Weapon store keyWrought iron keyZ sigilZealot's key (no change)[/hide] We still NEED these keys (others you find are also welcome): [hide]QUESTS:Air key (WGS)Base key (Curse of Arrav)Bedabin key (Tourist Trap)Bronze feather (Eagle's Peak)Bronze key -Recruitment- Cell key (WGS)Cell key 1 (Eadgars)Cell key 2 (Eadgars)Door key -Hallowvale- Dragonkin key (WGS)Earth key (WGS)Fire key (WGS)Grubby key (Defender of Varrock)H.A.M. prison key Key -Elemental Workshop II- Key -Lost Tribe- Key -Rocking Out- Large ornate key (Hallowvale)Metal feather (Eagle's Peak)Ogre gate key (Zogre Flesh Eater)Ornate tomb key (Seergaze)Prison key -Troll Stronghold- Scabarite key Silver feather (Eagle's Peak)Toban key (Watchtower)Warm key (Desert Treasure)Water key (WGS)Yurkolgokh key (Land of Goblins)[/hide] Crew Edit: Just a note - I've personally encountered several keys that have had changes with their pictures. Speedyshel
Wugmasterx, from looking through the database, the only F2P key I've found that we still need the examine info checked/confirmed is Prison key -Pete- used during the random event where you have to give Prison Pete the key to unlock the three door locks. Other than that, I think the F2P items are pretty much complete.
