November 17, 200916 yr DECLARE TOPIC RT ML vs DH ML hi Few weeks ago DH declared us for a war. We agreed with this: * Sunday november 15th. - 1h Cwa run-in- 7/8 GMT wartime- melee + range + binds only.- No corrupt items- Max 5 snipers.- Ring allowed.- Classic cwa area.- RSC Post allowed.- Lowest opts attacks.- Warworld 93- For TWR When the war starts: RT starting ppl: 34DH starting ppl: 35 It started pretty good we had slight more kills then dh. After around 30 minutes from the start some DH members went out of bounds and started to mass snipe. (around 6-7 rangers on our f-in leader and some melee snipers on our hybrids what I've seen) It work out good and DH getting more kills but both not allowed. We decided to stay in bounds but sending more snipers to their f-in leader. After that the really mass sniping started from both clans and around 10 minutes before end DH decided to leave trough portal when we also mass sniping and getting more kills. RT ending: (before tele) 34 ppl, 91 killsDH ending: (before tele) 37 ppl, 81 kills RT ending: 38 ppl, 129 killsDH ending: 0 ppl, 83 kills If DH say we started mass-snipe: a proof would be nice. That's not 20 minutes. :)Well, you mass sniped for 20 minutes, he couldn't have missed that on the vid. Even if DH did mass snipe, they kept having a stable main pile. On the contrary you did not have a pile for at least 20 minutes, only mass sniping. Now that's a break of the rules and that did affect the outcome. Animum debes mutare, non caelum.
November 18, 200916 yr Author They mass sniped not much shorter. :) The mass sniping from both was not more then 15 minutes. If they have also a small pile or not it's still mass sniping what we both did. Like I said the vidder died when one of the clans started mass sniping. Oh and DH running out of bounds did affect our kill speed. If u talking about the outcome. :thumbup:
November 18, 200916 yr These sniping rules often end up being controversial, it's a good idea in principle because otherwise sniping is just out of hand but it is problematic in practice. You get people with very similar names now just to make it so the other clan splits their piles and you get people in the wrong capes which make them difficult to find if the attacker is lower levelled so they attack someone else while they look for the pile, what else are they supposed to do? Then that can spread if the people on the wrong pile or attacking someone random get anti sniped. If the snipers are doing a good job it can just seem like the other clan has more snipers than they should too. Another thing is that it is very difficult to make sure that every member has read the rules properly so if you do believe that it will disrupt your fight this much then it may just be best to try to agree that sniping wont get out of hand. Best thing to do if someone begins breaking sniping rules is get evidence and keep following your rules. Otherwise you get scenario's like this and no one is happy. Anyway it looks like you were doing well while being outnumbered RT, gj to both clans for having such a close fight. Do you want to love me?
