Tim
Just another interesting thing I noticed. I was leafing through the images that Jagex provided to tip.it and this one in particular really stood out to me. http://www.tip.it/runescape/img2/Jagex_Exclusive.jpg The architecture of the buildings in this picture are pretty much identical to that of the building being designed in the video. I think whatever we're seeing in the video is the in-game version of the concept art. That said, the obvious fishing town theme only leads to connect the monster to the town. Looking at the sketch of the town in the concept art, there appears to be an east-facing peninsula on the north-side with a watchtower on it. Given that geography, I can't see any place on the map as of now where this village will fit logically, so it is likely to be a separate island which again brings us back to the pirate quests. It still doesn't rule out the possibility of that piece of land being part of a new continent (which would be awesome). Yeah, I agree that the architecture looks like some kind of pirate settlement. Keep in mind that the pirates live east of Morytania, and a new pirate island is very likely to move us further east. I'd say that if it's not the eastern lands, it probably is some kind of build up to the release of the area. I'd agree with that. Probably a new more eastern land, but not the eastern lands. Even that architecture has a similar feel to that of traditional asian fishing villages, so I think it fits extraordinarily well. There is mention to a goblin cave in the picture, but I'd assume goblins are a universal thing in Runescape =Pcant be assed editing other post. I think I can shed some light on that. Update on Fishing Guild. Gateway with a Fish, Coral, The notes saying "Swap the watchtower with the ship in front of the goblins cave", the cave of goblins following the "Cave Goblin" quest line. The ship could be either a mini-game, or some sort of restaurant from the looks of it and the small fish shack most likely could be a Supply shop with Nets, Bait etc. if its not and they update it, free 5k to dbzman912. Blutters
So how are "water" trolls different from "river" and "sea" trolls?A most valid point. Also I think people are forgetting we already have a taste of new troll graphics...<Forgot how to link in pictures...>[spoiler=Kinda unrelated minirant~]This is why Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf and Within the Light bugged me so much - they've shown they're willing to release just a few new models without updating the entire race yet they still chose not to update veldaban, the red axe guys, or chaos dwarves... Lets_3ekout
It looks like a quest-boss similar to barrelchest at best. I doubt it'll be a real boss, it doesn't stand a chance in hell at being a "super" boss. Some interesting tech stuff in there but it's a pretty old video, I remember seeing it a long time ago.
