Hey Ross, do you mind sending me some stats for your ARC cannons? I'm trying to explain something to Archi, and I'm having a hard time doing so because I don't know much about your ARC cannons.

 

EDIT: Before I get flamed, I'd like to say that Western Civilization is NOT overpowered. You always get that complaint from pro-Eastern Civ'ers. :rolleyes:

You will tell how powerful your weapons are. Relative to a laser that can shoot though a sheet of steel 1 meter thick.

 

You will tell me how powerful your armour is. Relative to a sheet of steel 1 meter thick.

 

1 Meter of steel is equal to shooting a laser though 10 people(for the sake of argument)

I'm going to give you research time and the amount of money put into it, since I don't like taking stabs at things.

 

My Arc lasers (Note the lack of capital letters :!: ) have been in research for roughly 110 years or so now I think, and have had about 500 trillion put into the research of them.

 

My ships have 4 meter thick strange tantalum armour.

Ok then, ST armour is probably 4 times as strong as steel, much cheaper to produce though.

 

Arc Lasers, based on the figures I have from Rocco and Mather, and research times, and I can remember there were 3 sizes:

 

Large Arc Lasers: 30 Meters

Med Arc Lasers: 18 Meters

Small Arc Lasers: 5 Meters

Oooh, that's pretty good. The small ones are only used for defense, so that's all fine.

 

Altough I guess I should probably work on improving my armour. Ah, theres something I can do later though.

We've been pretty much playing Dungeoneering while we're waiting on the last two people to submit their stats to Archimage. If anyone hasn't done that yet, please do so immediately so we can play good ol' Hegemony again. Of course I'm not particularly worried about my projects since they will be finished at the end of the month anyway.
