To Ross, I will say your drones never came in, because you didn't know what happened with the water, and it would be unfair if your drones just died there. The lift still works, but it isn't really a good idea to move my people out anyways. :thumbsup:

To be honest, the whole flooding of rooms is overpowered anyway.

There is only one entrance to that Area of floor C, and apparently, it cannot be invaded because nothing else can live underwater and we don't have any underwater tech.

Anyways, it's not overpowered in this case because I control that section of Deck C, so it makes logical sense that I would also flood the part surrounding the rooms. I can't flood any other deck, namely because I don't control it.

How about that, for 6 turns, the south west turbolift of deck C is out of action, it is clogged with water and the unfortunate Lichtes who were sucked out with it.

 

Sure, it means I can't move troops in, but it also means there is no way out for his troops.

Lift is down, but the Lichtes only felt a small "breeze" in the water, it's like when you open a bottle of soda, unless you shake it first the soda won't be blasted out with the small ammount of excess CO₂.

The flooding also means that I cannot use drones, because my rooms are all flooded. I have to rely on my biological soldiers.

Anyways, the elements of my strategy only come together in a defence. Which is why I haven't tried to attack anyone yet, my people are rather poor at attacking in this kind of enviroment. Ross, I'm assuming that you don't mean that you are sending drones in to a room which kills drones.

The plan is this

 

The three forward mechos are staying behind their shields, while the back one uses the sonic cannon to fire into the centre of the room.

It's more harrasment than a full attack, but that comes later.

 

The three unarmed drones which had their equipment taken are sent back to guard the rest of deck C.

Mechos have a base stat of 1/1/0. Wouldn't they be weaker than drones with the same equipment?

Also, for the calculation, how many rounds of ranged combat would you like before the main combat begins?

I thought the weakened biosoldier rule only applied to non-mechanical races, since our replication is expensive as hell anyway. Bah.

I assume 3/3/0 or 2/2/0. I think I'll wait for confirmation from Archi though.

I would have said 1/1/0 so it really matters what you agree on. I recommend you play some sort of online game, like tic tac toe(noughts and crosses) to decide who gets deciding vote.

I believe all civilians are automatically 1/1/0. The reproduction cost for Mechos should be lowered though.
