540, minus 50 for food, minus 80 for flame barriers = 410. Building 3 turrets near the elevatorthingo in my territory on Deck B costs me 45 credits, so I'm down to 365.

 

No acts of aggression at the moment, but man, having only 1 tech room really stinks.

You could exchange some of your credits each turn for Mather's science rooms. Maybe you send over 200 of your credits, and he can let you use his science rooms to spend the rest?

Sounds like a good idea. For two hundred a day/month/turn I'll let you use as many of my tech rooms you need.

Anyways, I create another riot shield and plasma cutter armed drone, set up more turrets on deck C, and feed everyone, and that is all my credits gone.

 

I send 3 drones to guard the entrance of Mathers rooms on floor C. Nobody will be allowed in or out, and the nearby turrets will fire at them as well if they do.

I did, but it just bogs me down with more stuff to feed. Besides, I've decided to be isolationist and peacekeeping, so the new people are more of a burden than a help, but the more people here, the more people I have on Alpha Centauri. :D

Btw, when someone edits the map again, can you please remove Archi's forcefields on Deck C, they've been disabled. Also, there is another force field I just made near the yellow dot on Deck C, and on both sides of my space on Deck D.

No it doesn't, since your people only take half the normal amount to feed anyway. Being able to double your people in 5 days is utterly absurd.

Change it, you would probably be able to double it every 20 days or so, max.

I never gave the fact that I wasn't going to mess with you as a reason. When I posted it, there were no objections, so I'm not going to change it now. You also forget that 5 days is equal to 5 months, and my are humanoid, not human. The only reason everyone doesn't get pregnant as humans is because no one has sex that much. However, since my people lay eggs, it's really 2 batches of 100. I've decided to change it so that there are many more males than females, but females lay more than one egg, so it is roughly equivilant to having one male and one female.

 

You decided to create a mechos race. It's not exactly good at reproduction, but I have an organic amphibian-humanoid race. Reproduction is one of its strengths.

100 Drones and 2 Biotics are sent down to deck G, when they get there 1 of the biotics overloads the rightmost barrier, and then the second overloads the turrets behind it, and everyone charges the room, clears out the defenders, and takes control of the room.

 

Where did you get 100 drones from? Also the room is undefended so you capture it.

 

4/4/0. My coilgun soldiers have a combined stat total of 20/20/20.

Drones have a base of 3/3/0....

So 8/8/0 verses 20/20/20. Since my forces were close they attack directly. We will divide by 10 because you should still get a range attack so your range attack is 2, which is not sufficent to kill any of my drones. I then attack CQ(close quarters) doing 8 damage, so 8 of your people are dead. You then attack CQ and range and do 20 odd damage. Since this is more than 8 my drones die.

 

Oh and Mather, turrets can't be inside rooms.

 

Anyway.

 

22 Red Rooms =1320 Credits

-200 on Food

-80 on ForceFields

1040 left.

 

6 Blue Rooms = 720 in spendable credits.

I build 17 drones(to 4/4/0)(at a cost of 42 credits each) and station them on G Deck.

 

I then use my 3 remaining(one is still powering down Dusty's Orange) to make sure the G Deck turbolift is offline. Since Dusty does not have 100 Drones(Silly number, unless he is using the reverse of everyone else's method) I plan to destroy this concentration of his troops in one fell swoop. I also set up another forcefield where the last one was taken down.

So I now have:

316 credits left over.

 

 

Archi, why couldn't you just use "my" map, you left out several edits and fixes there.

Because you map was wrong in regards to G Deck and most obvouisly because I had started posting before you had posted your map so unless I wanted to refresh the screen which would delete my post I didn't know about it. Also I have someone being a pain on MSN and I am feeling exausted so to be honest....

My coilgun soldiers were behind my melee range soldiers, so you would've killed melee ranged soldiers.

I killed 8 of your people. You can decide who.

Doesn'y make a huge difference, you could have just picked up the guns/weapons....

Since they are closed tech I can't equip my people with em, right?

 

If I can't, I'll just store em. If I can, then my last normal people in Deck C get em.
