December 10, 200916 yr Somewhat of an interest. I know it affects me and it's my responsibility to see how various items are doing. Even though I sell low and buy high ( for speed ) I still take an interest in all of it  Proper Daily blogging including Starcraft 2! Includes goal for 80+ all stats
December 10, 200916 yr None.Jagex ought to jusy set fixed prices.Letting the players do it is stupid and encourages RWT. Exclusive Legacy Mode Player He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. Lol
December 10, 200916 yr None.Jagex ought to jusy set fixed prices.Letting the players do it is stupid and encourages RWT.Having Jagex set the pricecs would create an even worse situation. Instead of bought out items going up over time and the GE price and the street price meeting at an equilibrium, they would stay bought out forever and whomever owned the majority of the items could charge you whatever they wanted.
December 12, 200916 yr I pay a little attention, but honestly, if I really want something and it goes up 300k in price (for example), I'm willing to make that extra cash. So basically, kind of, but not really :P
December 12, 200916 yr Even though i buy almost everything from the G.E. i feel the economy has no effect on me. and thus i don't pay too much attention.I keep an eye out for really obvious price increases though.
December 12, 200916 yr I am also making all of my money on the G.E. right now so I have a great interest in the RS economy. Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P. So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...
December 13, 200916 yr None.Jagex ought to jusy set fixed prices.Letting the players do it is stupid and encourages RWT.Having Jagex set the pricecs would create an even worse situation. Instead of bought out items going up over time and the GE price and the street price meeting at an equilibrium, they would stay bought out forever and whomever owned the majority of the items could charge you whatever they wanted. You would be right if the runescape economy were the real world economy (just think of anything involving oil in the last few years), but in runescape with the prices/trade limits, the people who do control a large amount of whatever item, have no more control over the price then someone with just one. I wouldn't like if the economy were at a fixed price though, because it has made me a little bit of income just because of inflation and selling at the right time. Runescape name is rspw2000
December 13, 200916 yr Not much beyond what I'm personally affected by to be honest; but I would like Jagex to implement some form of anti price manipulator system to the Grand Exchange. It's not natural inflation afterall so it wouldn't damage the economy if price manipulation was removed.
December 13, 200916 yr It was all I cared about for a few months, I followed it casually for a little while after that, then I quit and don't really care at all. [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp
December 13, 200916 yr Personally, I have next to no interest in the RS economy whatsoever. I never bother myself with the best moment to buy something, I just buy it, use it in skilling and, if applicable, sell what I got from it. I suppose people are making and loosing a lot of money through the economy, maybe I myself have lost millions, but well... As long as I don't mind it and know I lost something, I don't care either. :P ~99 Cooking on 06/20/2007~~99 Agility on 03/02/2008 (1,006th)~~99 Firemaking on 06/25/2008~~99 Woodcutting on 06/29/2009~~99 Fletching on 10/29/2009~
December 14, 200916 yr Somewhat of an interest. I love how the Grand Exchange kinda reflects Wall Street in the real world, but that's as far as My interest goes. People who make __750 mil merchanting flax____ are lost on Me.
December 17, 200916 yr I think the economy should be very important to all runescape players. With prices continually rising, eventually the prices for anything will be amazingly high and not practical for anyone. Jagex should seriously consider some way to efficiently drain some money to keep prices somewhat stable. A little up and down is ok, but continuous price rising is not going to be good in the long run Nobody can control his own life. The best you can do is chose to fill the roles given to you with good people, people who love you.
