December 17, 200916 yr We are proud to announce the launch of Bachelor Fridge, a slimy insight into what goes on inside your fridge when nobodys looking. As a self-respecting bachelor (or bachelorette), you have never cleaned out your fridge and youve started to notice that things are getting a little bit frisky in there. The bacon has started grazing on the lettuce, the takeaway curry from the summer has started a bid to dominate the bottom shelf, and something rather disturbing is going on in the ice tray. While all of this is rather gross, it does open up a new area of competitive sport... Use your knowledge of rotten foodstuffs to breed the most fearsome and foul-smelling microcosm of fighting creatures the ice tray has ever seen. Battle other creatures for fortune, glory and cash for shopping, and evolve and breed yet more mouldy menaces. Can you create the most devilishly devious fighting creature ever to grace a bachelors fridge? The action takes place in two distinct areas: the breeding ground of the fridge where you produce and evolve your crusty creatures, and the arena where your nutritional nightmares do battle with the creations of bachelors from all over the world. Arena matches feature a turn-based system of movement and action, where each player simultaneously decides on the type of movement or action that their creatures will perform. These actions are then played out in order of the creatures initiative. Budding bachelors must use their cunning to outwit and out-gross their opponents, in addition to breeding creatures of hideous power. Bachelor Fridge is packed full of 50 Achievements, some of them crisp and fresh, others decidedly gruesome. Free players can get involved with Rated games, and members have access to extra supermarket items and ice tray space. Spending money for Groceout.com is earned by playing Rated games, and matches can be enjoyed by up to 4 players, each sending up to 6 creatures into battle. So, hold your breath, put on your safety goggles and prepare to delve into the rancid, dripping world of Bachelor Fridge. Go get your hands dirty! Mod SporxFunOrb Developer Hi guys, Worried that this Christmas might simply not be random enough? Do you tremble in terror at the possibility of nothing but socks this Christmas? Well fear no more. FunOrb is offering a prize with a difference for our festive themed competitions. We have a carol competition, for those singer-songwriters out there. Just come up with a festive jingle with a FunOrb twist. Alternatively, if youre not the musical type, get out your camera and take a picture of something festive that relates to FunOrb. It could be a bizarre diorama that you have created, depicting a Bachelor Fridge playing Tetralink with Santa, or it could be a snowscape with a strange blue blob in it. Let your creative juices flow. The prizes include membership, but also the CM FunOrb Bag of Wonder, a special FunOrb bag filled with random things that the FunOrb CM team have added to it. This may include random gifts, sweets and even the deeds to small countries (when Mod Raven takes his place as supreme ruler of the cosmos). You can find the competitions here:A FunOrb Christmas Carol Competition - Quick find code: 39-40-27-46742A FunOrb Christmas Photo Competition - Quick find code: 39-40-26-46741Also, dont forget to check out our FunOrb advent calendar, with a special message from a J Mod each day, leading up to Christmas - it's our FunOrb Festive Countdown (Quick find code: 15-16-470-46534). December 18, 200916 yr I was playing it awhile ago through it was a little bit glitchy and lost connection a couple times so I'm putting it off for the TF2 Update.
December 18, 200916 yr I'm really warming up to this game, everyone in the lobby at time of posting is flaming it and saying it's a horrible game but I like it.I also lose connection for about 1 second, especially in Sudden Death when changing phases, and also when the game ends, but luckly everything is kept and intact. Hope to see a bugfix soon.
December 18, 200916 yr I played it for one round, but i didn't really like it. The game just felt too slow for me, i would have proffered if they had given it some sort of pokemon/beat em up style but kept the little monsters the same instead of having another AOG style game. Want to be my friend? Look under my name to the left<<< and click the 'Add as friend' button!Big thanks to Stevepole for the signature!^
December 18, 200916 yr It has so many game mechanics that are straight from aog, steel sentinels and the football game that it can't be that bad  Easy achievements to be had ->
December 19, 200916 yr Well, OK just played it, and unfortunately for Jagex, this isn't their best game. It's just so frustrating finding out what your creatures want to eat. For example, I rotted out The Ringer, and evolved him maybe once. After, he said he wanted a drink, so I bought him a cola, and an energy drink, the two F2P drinks. He ignored them both, and those are my only drinks :( . What else can you do really? Also, I've seen it happen myself where the creature wants a certain type of food (e.g. bread), and then it eats another type of food (e.g. meat) And the controls for the multiplayer are DAMN annoying. By the time you get to punch an enemy, they would already be gone, and the fact that your creature can only walk in a straight line gets annoying.
December 19, 200916 yr What you described happened to me too. The f2p version is very restricted and gets repetitive fast. The creatures can think of p2p drinks, so it happens they won't always drink the two f2p drinks. I believe there is a list of which foods each creature wants and they just think of one of them at a time even if they would eat others... the controls add to the strategic aspects and make the game different from aog. The amount of different creature combinations must be huge.I hope they fix the issues with the connection losts soon.
December 21, 200916 yr It was all just confusing to me. I tried it out today and it was meh. I'll stick to easier brain dead games. :D A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
December 31, 200916 yr I think it's quite fun. WARNING -- SPOILERS To level up the ringer, give it tuna, cake and cheddar. It'll learn lob, first aid and jump, the only three decent skills for it. To get run, feed it a kebab. Run sucks though. ---- Anyway, I enjoy the trial-and-error in finding what food the creatures want. It just adds to the euphoria when your creature gets a new move. I agree that the game is irritating for F2P. My creatures keep saying they want XXX, but it ends up that the specific food in that XXX category is members-only... <_< Waste of at least $3 or more. Click here for an awesome suggestion to revive smithing!
