Well i didnt see a topic for this so im making one. Assassian's Creed 2 is an adventure/action game played in 3rd Person in 1500's in Italy. Its a large game and a free reign with missions dungeons and other mini game like things. It is one of the bst games i have played and much better than AC1.

Discuss anything about this game.

Faaaaaaaaar better than Assassin's Creed 1. I love being able to have more powers of customisation with the character. There is also a lot that you can in the 2nd as opposed to the first which was pretty much limited to the main missions, and the collectables.

Yeah i love how you can choose your weapons and setup. Also can you buy/aquire Altier's sword like how you can obtain his armour?

If I recall correctly, you purchase his knife and sword, but collect the seals for his armour.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Around what time can you buy his weapons?

Once you unlock his armour his weapons should become available in the blacksmith shops.

I got this game for Christmas, it's really enjoyable and a huge improvement over the first which I thought was quite disappointing, I like the new villa thing and all the cool little extras they've put in. Btw, has anyone bought the treasure map for the villa area? There is one chest I can't seem to find, it's apparently in the main villa and I can't find it for the life of me. Is it like beneath it or something? And no, it's not the two in the top room, I got those already. :wall:

I was stuck on that for ages. Go down the well to the right of the Villa. You should find it there. :)

You can go to any tomb as soon as they are available, it only ever requires your jumping/climbing skills, puzzle solving, and sometimes attack.

Very enjoyable to play and a huge improvement over the first game. Found it to be a bit buggy in places though (stuck under a dock; had to reload game, an AI I had to assassinate would stop in place because there was a dead body in front of him) but those are small annoyances really. The great selection of weapons, scenery, music and storyline are pretty awesome. Something I didn't do in the first game was visit all the high points, the view is well worth the time and effort.

[hide=Possible spoiler]I'm looking forward to playing the third game. Anyone know how long the series might go on for?[/hide]

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

I hate those [bleep]ing violin idiots, they have made me fail timed missions quite a few times because they don't get out of the [bleep]ing way! Is there any legal way to move them? At the moment i've just been throwing them into rivers and such.

[hide=possible spoilers]So, just who exactly are we going to fight in AC3? The templar lackey's with the BATONS? It's in the future for peet sake! Where are the guns?![/hide]

All in all I thought this was a very good game. Although, how do you kick sand/sweep guards off their feet?

(360 version..) Holding down the X button for a few seconds will make him grab loose soil and throw it at enemies; if you have the pc or ps3 version just hold down the button to attack. To sweep guards with a long weapon you need to purchase it in Montergionni training arena, I think it's around 5k florins just ask for special training.

It's spelt Assassin's, not Assassians. ;)

Thinking about getting it, though I'm not sure as MW2 will keep me occupied for ages.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

I have both and its a good swap off when you want to throw your controller through the screen.

I just beat the storyline today. I have 44/50 achievements and I'm going to get the last 6 tomorrow because they shouldn't be that hard. All I have left is the feathers one, the glyphs one, the auditore cape one and the 3 combat achievements. It hopefully shouldn't take more than an hour or two.

Even if it's a dumb story, telling it changes other people just the slightest little bit, just as living the story changes me. An infinitesimal change. And that infinitesimal change ripples outward-ever smaller but everlasting. I will get forgotten, but the stories will last. And so we all matter-maybe less than a lot, but always more than none.

I got almost all of them just by doing a little exploring on the side. It's such fun icon_thumbsu.gif
