Nick breaks free with one arm, unfortunately it is not the one with his maul in. Instead he punches the skeleton in the head, but it does not let go. More arms begin grabbing at him.

 

The Pillar, is glowing brightly.

Nick goes into berserker rage and throws the skeletons that are grabbing at him off, then kicks the torch into them, and runs out of the room and shuts the door behind him.

I would be in the room with Grim now I believe.

 

Also this is going a bit fast.

(I dont really think it is worth it right now) Grim continues into the next room spear in one hand and staff in the other. Grim offers to help ares drag the beast out of the water and then possibly to cook it.

Jen runs to the room just outside Dusty's room and tries to fire ice shards at the skeletons, after reopening the door. Then she tries to freeze the skeletons so that they shatter when Dusty can hit then with his maul. Afterwards, she partially closes the door and tries to freeze it shut.

(What type of spells do we have at level 1?)

Shrugging grim starts trying to set up a makeshift forge in the two stone room and then actually make it useful with a combination of fire and wind magic (set up convection currents with the wind magic and supply heat with the fire magic)

EDIT:@ sere I think we have all of the spells but the chances of them succeeding are rather low at level one.

(Also do I get any experience for the smelting of the metal?)

Hm, that's actually quite a good plan Retech. Freeze and smash, freeze and smash. Also, Arch, can I find a bow already? Lol.

Sere, I believe you start at Level 0 in everything. Dusty, will you help me in my fight? We'd make a good team. Freeze-smash? :)

Nick escapes the skelotens and is back in the chest room.

I guess I'll try all of them.

 

As Kratos is running through the dungeon, he unleashes fire spells in order to kill any monsters that he encounters.

Check for poisons/toxins/parasites within lump of meat, and if none is present, cook it using fire magic.

 

Also, check if beast skin is suitable for leatherworking.

Jen fails to freeze the skeletons.

Jen freezes the door closed.

Just a note to everyone this is not a closed dungeon, there is a way out.

Krakos fails to cast a fire spell.

Nick smashes the ice on the door then opens it, lets a skeleton into the chest room, then slams the door shut, and jams his pilfered short sword into the bar to keep it closed, and stars smashing the skeleton that he let into the room.

Rinse and repeat, with Jen's (Retech's) ice magic for freezing the skeletons.

Care to join the fight?

Rocco opens the door and see a tall pillar. It isn't glowing. You can hear something though.

Jen tries to make spikes using ice that sorta act as stakes which point towards the frozen door. Then she does whatever Dusty wants her to do with regards to fighting the skeletons (within reason).

Grim tries to cook ares's meat with fire magic before trying again to channel lightning into the spear tip.

Ares checks the meat for toxic substances, if none are found, he shall cook it using fire magic while examining the monsters skin to check if it can be used as a crafting material.
