The Pillar seems to be full of magical animation energy. You don't set it off.

The Skelotons are armed with shortswords, there are 12 of them. You don't set the trap off.

You guys keep trying with your orbs of light. My torch is working just fine.

 

Hmm, I grab a shortsword and strap it to my belt. Next, I place my palm on the statue and try to set it off. Something about curiosity and a cat.

Jen attempts to make a shield of ice, though dodging out of the way no matter the result. She moves in a Z pattern towards Grim, then attempts to freeze him, before attempting to stab him with the icy dagger (which uses ice magic, so there wouldn't be any str exp)

Jen freezes most of the room, sealing the doors. Grim and Jen(and everyone who isn't Nick or Ares) is trapped in the first two rooms.

 

Jen recieves .5 ice magic.

 

Jen is now level 1 ice magic.

Grim throws a fireball at Jen. Jen is knocked unconscience.

 

+.2 fire magic.

Grim yells at jen "Do you really think its a good idea getting near me) before trying to enlarge the cone of fire around his staff into a whip which he uses to slash at jen.

(Woohooo, what does Level 1 Ice Magic mean? Does it mean that I can cast more powerful spells, or get a special ability?)

 

Jen tries to use her reflexes unconciously to do the below.

Jen tries to climb with her slightly better than average climbing skills onto Grim's back so that he can give her a piggy back ride. Then she tries to create a solid block of ice in the center of the room.

Ares fails to create a light orb. A tentacle grabs him.

Nick-

As you take the shortsword the skeloten grabs you by the arm. Another skeloten grabs your other arm and the other 10 begin moving towards you.

Ares curses again, charges his dagger with light energy so that it will act as a torch, and then tries to slice through the tentacle.

 

(Ffffffffff- Kraken?)

Grim tries to summon a blast of fire emanating from his fore head (EDIT: Nevermind ) he then tries to blast a hole in the then frozen over door with a large ball of concentrated fire.

(I am unconcious. Look at my edit)

Nick yells "It's my sword now [bleep]!" and goes to town on the brittle boned skeletons with his maul (I probably has the best weapon to deal with them). Skulls, limbs, legs, and hands go flying as Nick spams "Whirlwind".

 

Also what happened with the pillar?

Room to the right of me is the start room.

Ares creates a shining dagger.

He can see 4 tentacles, plus the one around his hand.

He slashes though the tentacle. The other 4 rush to restrain him.

2 miss. One enters his mouth and tries to choke him. The the other wraps itself round his waist.

 

The tentacle makes you gag, and feels too strong to bite though.

Grim sets fire to his head.

(When will my character wake up?)

 

Jen unconciously tries to create a solid block of ice in the center of the room. Then, she tries to sculpt it into a statue of a diving man.

Nick breaks free with one arm, unfortunately it is not the one with his maul in. Instead he punches the skeleton in the head, but it does not let go. More arms begin grabbing at him.

 

The Pillar, is glowing brightly.

Ares focuses another shadow pulse, hoping to get everything the hell off of him.

Jen is unconscience until someone tries to heal her.

Cursing grim runs around screaming then an inspiration comes and he head-buts jen square in the chest. He then tries again to blast open a door.

(Pwease, someone save me! Then I can continue making pretty ice sculptures)(Also, did you just try to head butt Jen in her bosom?)(Was that a healing thing)

Ares fails to cast another shadow pulse. The tentacle in his mouth puts him off. The Tenacle heads deeper, entering your stomach. The other tenacle starts squeezing.

(Yeah... it was totally a healing thing! It was not in any way an attempt to set her on fire...)

Ares focuses a lightning bolt to stun everything in the water and desperately hopes that he becomes unparalyzed first.

Grim blasts the ice off a door. It is the same door Nick entered.
