Ares moves to the southern door and checks it for traps.

Age- Unknown

Height- 6'4"

Weight- 155 lbs.

Notable Characteristics- Short Brown hair with an elongated nose, has a minor limp in his gait, mutters frequently about fire, frequently switches an eye patch over his two good eyes, and is rather lanky.

Weapon- Staff.

(Do we have any powers, or just the natural ability to use a weapon)

 

Jen begins climbing up one of the pillars to see examine the roof.

No natural abilities or powers, well aside from magic, obvouisly.

Ross I am gonna get changed then I will be with you.

Nick shoves Ares aside and smashes the door down with his maul, then enters the next room with his maul held at the ready.

Probably should've used a less fuzzy looking colour than black, but whatever.

Ares jumps behind a pillar, suspecting some kind of explosion or swarm of enemies.

 

(Assuming that move was actually legit, which I'm not sure. The rules are slightly confusing, but I'm sure it wont take me long to get them)

Oooooh, so we have magic? I'd be willing to sacrifice any melee prowess for some ice magicks. :thumbsup: Shards of ice, making the floor slippery, the like. :)

Nick is too weak to move Ares out the way.

Ares finds no traps.

Ares slowly opens the door and looks inside.

(What happened with my character climbing up the pillar like a tree trunk. And the verdict on magic?)

Jen climbs the pillar. There is nothing obvouis on the roof.

The room is dark, your shadow on the floor is long. You hear the growl of an animal.

Jen crawls around so she is on the opposite side of the pillar, then tries to climb down the pillar. (Verdict on magic?)

(Can a character be able to cast small amounts of magic from the get go?) Grim climes after jen and looks around.

Ares uses a small fire spell to light the room, and while checking what the animal is, he raises his weapon to his prevent face being mauled.

Grim falls off the pillar half way up.

He lands badly.

 

You can attempt to cast magic, you will either fail or succeed based on rolls I make(And obvouisly I will adjust for the stupid)

What are you casting it on?

(I'll say my melee combat is virtually non-existant, hopefully to get penalized less when I try to cast a spell stronger than what other people with big axes can cast)

 

Jen attempted to climb down the pillar, casting an ice spell to try to make the ground between them and the creature slippery with ice.

Jen falls off the pillar.

She manages not to break any bones.(Can't cast the ice spell because you fell)

 

(Also everyone starts at 1 everything)

My guy can draw a warbow but is too weak to push someone? Wtf.

 

Anywho, as Ares is poking his head in through the door Nick smashes his maul into the back of his skull. Show you who's weak.

Ares is knocked prone.

 

The Dog pounces on the body of Ares and prepares to bite though his neck.

 

Behind there are more growls.

Now that Jen is off the pillar safely, she attempts to cast the spell again.

Jen fails to cast the spell.

 

Oh and Nick recieves +.4 Strength.

Nick hits Ares in the head again.
