My merry band of mercenaries and I have attacked the manor of a rich minor noble in the country of NO ID / STRING UNKNOWN and taken hostage the man, and slaughtered his armsmen. I lose a knight during the battle due to the pox (pretty inopportune moment to die, stupid bloke), as well as 8 men-at-arms to actual manly wounds.

 

Anyways, I make away with a captured nobleman and a wagonload of gold. I shall start buying the loyalty of various highwaymen and ruffians, and mercenaries, and turn it into a force that can capture the whole country of STRING UNKNOWN.
