Good Block Tasks?

Title says it all, im looking for which tasks i should block NOT including Aquanites because i actually like that task.

 

So far i have:

1. kalphites

2. empty OR bloodvelds(low xp and little to no money gain)

3.empty

4.empty

Block metal dragons, unless you specifically like them. Also block hellhounds.

Its up to you what you want to block. Right now i have Hellhounds, Gargoyles, Steel Dragons and Kalphites. I might unblock the Steel Dragons and add Waterfiends though.

for all you people saying block bloodvelds...cannon them in blood alter dungeon. Its about 50k slayer xp per hour and i get 1 dragon drop a task on average.

I have red dragons blocked because of the annoying wild dogs.

 

Also have kalphites blocked.

dont have that dungeon unlocked and i dont plan on doing that quest until after 99 defence.

I must be unlucky then, because I've never gotten one there. And to the OP, you should at least try out every task and then you can block the ones you find you don't like.

Although I have no experience with skele wyverns, I can assume they are the better task because of the cash you can make from them. Bloodvelds are a waste of time IMO.

Only problem i see with skele wyverns because i choose to melee them i can only get 4-5 kills per trip on a task to 70-75.

Are you praying, because tanking skele wyverns doesn't turn out well unless you have a uni :???: .

Or you can use a BoB holding more food, its what i did before i got a uni. And it also helps to bank the bones as they are 4k each and make a great profit on the task. Also if you do pray on them you still need some food as they use their icy breath and a range attack on you that can damage.

yea i use pray against them but i still fail to make over 4-5 kills per trip even they i do tend to make a good amount of money from their bone drops but it seems im not profiting from the task only losing money because of the p pots +food cost.

I'd like to say that if you use Kuradal alot of those tasks your considering blocking are amazing like gargoyles. I have an average of 1.5 mauls per task and a clue. If you have ferocious rings metals are als very good because of very fast banking. Hellhounds are also a breeze in there because of how many there are. Some of the other tasks you are considering blocking are not even given by Kuradal.

I do use kuradel and almost every task that i have block or am considering i've gotten from her (with the exception of kalphites who i've had blocked) and steel dragons just because i dont have 85 herblore for the super antifires.

Since you use, Kuradel, I'd block living creature task, they take insanely long, even longer if you choose to mine them.

Warped Turtles are great xp and money.

Here is a list of all of Duradel's task sorted by their slayer xp/hr. This is assuming you use the best possible method and have the best possible stats, but the relative position of each on the list should remain the same regardless of your levels.

 

Dagannoths: 80k

Bloodvelds: 56k (up to 59k with Steel Titan)

Warped Terrorbirds: 51k

Scabarites: 50k

Suqahs: 50k

Aberrant Spectres: 46k (up to 48k with Steel Titan)

Black Demons (range or halberd + cannon): 40k

Goraks: 37k

Kalphites: 36k

Fire Giants (melee + cannon): 35k

Dark Beasts: 36k (1k to 2k less if you need to do 2 trips)

Dust Devils: 28k (up to 33k with Steel Titan)

Spiritual Mages: 25k (up to 27k with Steel Titan)

Abyssal Demons: 25k

Gargoyles: 25k

Skeletal Wyverns: 24k (1k to 2k less if you have to do 2 trips)

Nechryaels: 24k (up to 27k with Steel Titan)

Waterfiends: 23k (up to 26k with Steel Titan)

Black Dragons: 23k (baby black dragons)

Hellhounds: 22k (1k to 5k more if you pick up fewer charms)

Greater Demons: 21k

Iron Dragons: 17k (up to 19k if you have dragon slayer gloves)

Steel Dragons: 14k

Mithril Dragons: 9k

 

That being said, you should block the 4 that are toward the bottom of the list. However, remember these are RATES and also do not consider RARITY. If a task is fairly uncommon, then it makes more sense to skip it than block it, saving that slot for a different task. Also, if the task is extremely short, like Mithril Dragons, which are the slowest in terms of rate but one of the fastest in terms of task speed, then you may always have to question blocking it.

At 75 Slayer and 110 combat it's good to go to Kuaradal, I've gained massive xp since I started using her (since she came out).

I'd block the ones that you hate and see that you hate them, it's an opnion to do it :D

I block skeletal wyverns, steel dragons, and bloodveld due to the fact the slayer tower is always crowded and I dont feel like doing the darkness of hollowvale quest. I'm thinking of blocking gargoyles duo to the fact I hate the hammer to death deal and the fact I never get mauls from them and I get them a ton and always 200+.

Probably just personal preference, maybe he hates black demons but likes hellhounds. I'm the opposite because my first hellhounds task was terrible and black demons gave me my first dragon drop but it's all about what you like. If you'd like to know my blocks are steel drags, hellhounds, and kalphites using Kuradal as a master.

* Abyssal Demons - too low slayer

* Black Demons - fast if you use a cannon or nice in the CT for crimsons

* Black Dragons - babies or KBD, speed or lots of crimsons

* Blue dragons - nice money and if you get bored babies

* Bloodvelds - lots of locations and cannoning them is insane exp

* Dagannoths - cannon for speed or ct from drops and crimsons

* Dark Beasts - too low slayer

* Dust Devils - great task, good exp and nice drops

* Fire giants - same as dust devils

* Gargoyles - piety+ferocious ring = extremely fast kills. Very profitable when you get there drops.

* Greater Demons - piety+ferocious ring

* Hellhounds - piety+ferocious ring

* Iron Dragons - too long without you have super antifire

* Kalphites - cannon task and I've not had them in ages

* Living Rock creatures - never had them

* Mithril Dragons - small numbers and chance of a d full. Practically free slayer points

* Nechryaels - chin them, amazing range exp and a decent amount of charms. If your melee strong block them.

* Skeletal wyverns - low numbers, chance of visage, granite legs and 1:1 crimson charm drops

* Spiritual Mages - if you have the slayer level amazing money

* Steel Dragons - same as irons only longer

* Suqahs - slightly annoying to get to, but low numbers and fast kills.

* Terror dogs - slayer ring makes them bareable and they have ok drops

* TzHaar - nice amount of tokkul, nice smi-rare drops and a good way to gain obsidian charms for summoning

* Warped Tortoises - no had them, but if there anything like terrorbirds they are pretty easy and these are even closer to the door.

* Waterfiends - amazing crimsons, a bit long for tasks but if you have high summoning CT is a nice way to kill 100 or so fast.
