I think this means it's been 5 days since I started talking with Gabon. Yay annexation or something. Our countries had to set aside our differences, and as a bit of a compromise, our union is renamed Equatorial Guinea-Gabon. Also known as EGG.

I believe I also said that we're talking with Benin. Two days left on that, I think.

Of course, all this expansion is taking a toll on our small economy. So if the SSR's offer still stands, we gratefully accept it. You'll receive $14m back each year for 50 years. (is it in-game years or real-life days?)

Otherwise, development on green energy is going well. Our military has been merged with Gabon's, which is nice.

The latest ships in the U.S. Navy's Burke class destroyers weigh 9,200 tons, cost $1.5 billion each to build, have a crew of about 330 sailors, carry 96 (a combination of antiaircraft and cruise) missiles.

 

So there'sa rough figure to base yours on. If it's better than a Burke class, add more money to the cost.

Hmmm, missiles? I'd be surprised... Cause they are a rather poor place, well quite rich now with all the annexing, barely any years have passed to actually build enough missiles to really beat me, or even leave a scratch.

Japan continues on its projects, but moves some of its money around. The Japanese economy grew greater than expected, due to massive and unexpected government spending.

Ico, I agree with you, but I know the history of that region of the world...And while it seems unlikely to unify to quite the extent it has, there is a strong possiblity there.

Archi was referring to aircraft carriers which cost 2 billion. I was referring to the American design, which hold 100 planes and cost 8 billion. It was supposed to be more economical to have a super carrier than a normal aircraft carrier. I think I'll just be building normal carriers from this point.

I didn't "Invade" Somalia, or w/e... I sent in troops to clear out the evil guys, I then cleared out... Jesus..

 

I also think if they look for military power, they would of joined me, or Germany, and as you sell all their stuff, they would leave... I mean you wouldn't like a total idiot come up to you, say join me, and then they take all your stuff and chuck it around...

Assimilation is hardly a flashy word. It just means bringing people to accept and practise ones own culture. So it's not really that hard to assimilate another culture into your own if you both share the exact same culture.

Besides, I have a strong feeling that if I did relinquish my lands, that Russian troops would be sitting within them within a month (and encounter no resistance), since they would be NPC countries then.
