Sigh... Fine 50 Gold. This whole thing is rubbish...why South African needed aid I have no idea...

It didn't. Retech is delusional in this case. However, I didn't much feel like having one of the biggest gold exporters be 'fanatically loyal' to Japan, so I sent in aid workers to help out as well.

Nobody is going to bid on the military of Croatia? If not it'll be sold to an un-named country (that would realistically be buying as much military hardware as possible, considering recent events and the way the world is moving).

Militaries are seeming more and more a thing of the past....Says S-Net forums...

The internet is becoming increasingly aware that the government of Switzerland seems to be controlling all the messages on S-Net...

The S-Net thing is getting stupid. Look at the internet, does the internet have one opinion?

Japanese citizens are protesting against their government for being incompetent and in many cases, reckless.

Islamic tensions further heighten throughout Europe.

Islamic protesters gather in Berlin with signs saying "Europe, Destruction is Near!", "Slay those who insult Islam", etc.

The Dutch cartoonist who drew images of Muhammad was murdered by some Islamic extremists in the Netherlands. Dutch police have apprehended a suspect in the murder case, however.

Federation activity has increased somewhat in North Ireland.

The Spanish army has stepped up border defenses in order to keep the Franco-German Reich from invading. Catalonia has stated that it will never join the Franco-German empire.

The Dutch Republic has been granted protectorate status by the Federation. US marines are being garrisoned in the country in order to guarantee national security.

A typhoon has caused significant damage in Indonesia and the various Pacific/Indian Ocean islands in the area. 50,000 people are dead. The United States has opted to send Federation aid into the region.

By the way, Indonesia IS controlled by Japan. Australia, according to the map, was given Papua New Guinea. Also, Australia only gained 7 million people.

The Confederation in the Pacific/Indian Ocean has warned that it will go to war against Japan if it tries to interfere with its member states.

A democratic protest in the PRC has led to the arrest of 50 people, with 12 being executed outright. Chinese media has tried to hide this leak, to no avail.

The Second Iranian Revolution has begun.

bloody computer bugging out on me, just deleted a huge post i was making.

will edit.

The protesters were illegal immigrants and thus quickly given the door (Though what I want to know is where the German-Franco Reich came from?...) The annexation of Morocco continues as does Monaco.

Reich = German empire

You annexed France and thus became the 4th German Reich essentially.

The majority of the protesters were German citizens.

Switzerland will accept any German Exiles(if you want to get rid of them anyway) since we are from the same stock....Up to 500,000 anyway

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

They're Islamic immigrants who gained German citizenship.

And Dusty is being rather niggardly over the gold reserve issues in South Africa, although the whole situation is stupid.

In which case they can stick to Germany or where-ever you deport them to.

Well, from the protests, they probably will be a little hostile in regard to deportation. They want to live in Germany, but they want Germany to conform to their extremist ideals.

Grim probably doens't want extremists telling him how to run his country...

Then he better find a diplomatic solution.

What? I have a trade deal with South Africa. So, someone taking gold from there means I'm not getting the gold that I'm paying for.

Why would the Dutch Republic suddenly become a protectorate of the US?

AK2015s and other various weapons are being smuggled into Iran. For a healthy profit, of course.

A new line of weapons is starting research, and the team working on them has been granted $140m a year. Estimated time is 4 years.

The cleaning of the Dâmboviţa River is complete (which has now been ranked one of the cleanest rivers in the world). Factories and buildings that pollute toxic waste into the river face severe fines, and in extreme cases may lose their permit to operate within the city.

The SR is building an additional 12 large recycling plants across the country, as well as starting Project RM (related).

The financial district in Bucharest is complete. Parks, fountains, and statues denote the importance of the area, as well as towering skyscrapers, numerous corporate headquarters, as well as the huge National Bank of The Slavic Republic, which is a marble/granite interior building built in the style of the Pantheon.

Great Library of Bucharest/World History Museum/Constanta Shipyard still being built.

Additions to the University of Bucharest has been completed, and is now the largest university in existence. Numerous renowned teachers, professors, and experts from across the world have been offered positions within the University, and a fair number have accepted, likely due to the lucrative salary offered by the SR government.

The GDP of the Slavic Republic has also started skyrocketing, due to the huge boom in manufacturing, industry, and economic stability. Conservative estimations are that the current growth rate of 10-12% will continue for the next 5 years, before slowly stabilizing at around 6%.

800 Slavic Republic soldiers have landed in Indonesia, and will help co-ordinate the aid effort, and set up a base of operations for civilian volunteers that will inevitably flood in soon.

The SR is also looking into new materials for roads that will prevent them from cracking and requiring constant maintenance. Any other country is welcome to help.

The new alloy has been finished for the deep sea exploration submarine, despite India's withdrawal from the project (Rocco buggered off from India). The team is now working on electronic equipment that won't break down, and communications equipment that will be able to transmit findings that far below the surface (and in case of emergencies).

Project FW1 is almost complete, with nearly every gas station across the country having inputs for electric cars. The sale of algae-fuel cars within the SR is, disappointing to Honda-Toyota, to say the least. Most have a somewhat distant feeling towards gas powered cars, given the new push towards green energy. It's not seen as something that could be accepted widely by the population unless significant steps in the marketing campaign of the fuel and the cars are made.

Project Framework is also coming along nicely, with one of the new rivers that has been created from the Black Sea running across the SR, and providing easy access to water in areas that never had before. Farms are starting up in these areas.

Immigration has been loosened as well, and a flood of immigrants has been coming into the country. They are reminded that while it is expected that they will maintain their cultural identity, that anything that goes against the beliefs of the Slavic people will not be accepted (eg. Sharia Law).

Due to the new wave of Islamic extremism in Europe, the Slavic government has issued the statement that the Republic is open to all religions, but acts of violence with the sole motivator being religion will not be tolerated.

The German government is now open for talks with the protesters (not quite sure why you can god-mod them german citizenry though...)

LNYvk.png
The sale of algae-fuel cars within the SR is, disapointing to Honda-Toyota, to say the least.

?

Retech bought a monopoly within the SR so that Russia wouldn't be allowed to sell algae-fueled cars there.

It was more that you either missed out a word or put a comma in the wrong place...So it could 'is banned' or 'is disapointing'

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
