The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)

Thats true...although actually I brought guns from you which I then gave to guys and gals that I came to control subsequently because you wouldn't let me control Abbyina temporarily, insisting that I had to annex it or leave it alone...and knowing full well you wouldn't give me back any money I just carried on.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I wouldn't let you control Abyssinia, so your solution was to control Abyssinia.

And I'm pretty sure it wasn't just me that had a problem with Ethiopia suddenly getting control over half a continent in the span of a month.

And it's not just you I have a problem with proxy controlling other countries. I have a problem with anyone that does it, but since nobody seems to care or seem to recognize that it's a major game-breaking exploit; well, [bleep] it, I'll just do it myself then. Whatever.

Im Going to kill you

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Sigh. Well no vote opposed it so thusly happened. Where as in this case the moderators have opposed it and thus it has not instantly happened.

Like I said, I don't really care.

This is what the site that Mather linked to comes up as for me:

Meh. Poland decides not to invade anywhere, no one shows any real signs of interest beyond the suggestion so it goes nowhere.

Also, I don't really care what you two decide happened with Poland, as what's already happened happened.

That's very nice Arch, can you go and do your mod duties and update the front page already?

Get your [bleep]ing egos out your arses.

I wasn't dismissing it as if nothing happened. I was just giving Archi the signal to go ahead and calculate it, so there is more detail.

It's more entertaining that way, and all of that land probably hasn't been annexed yet. The war's still in progress, basically.

I don't mind Poland doing that, but only a mod can proxy a country like that.

^ That probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and I probably sound contradictory. Oh well...

I'm basically saying that we need to see the story about the war unfold. We need to know the casualties. We need to know the activities of the opposition groups.

You picked a terrible Prophet then.

I opposed Abbysnia from the beginning, but this isn't how it's supposed to work. I think we should have a discussion on the topic.

I vote to disband both the Polish empire and Abbysnia, simply because the rule has to be clear cut, one way or another, whether such direct control is involved. Small godmods are okay in my opinion, where there is little consequence, but we can't have all these hive mind countries all over the place.

Oh, that reminds me. After receiving arms from Japan, India pwnzerfies Nigeria, before giving it to Japan.

Actually, I'm fine with Poland taking the Baltic States, but I want to see some calculations. It sets a dangerous precedent if we don't, you see....

I never have liked the idea behind Abyssinia, but I was too bogged down with dealing with all of the other moronic things that I never really bothered.

Okay, my point is that in both circumstances, there were NO CASUALTIES.

Let's see the chain of events that leads up to Abbysnia:

Russia and Switzerland overthrow Somalian government

Somalia, with assistance from the above, attacks Ethiopia with chemical weapons, killing their army with no casualties for Somalia

Switzerland buys lots of weapons for Ethiopia

The same Ethiopian army that was killed by those chemical weapons attacks and conquers more than half of Africa

Africa does not rebel or object, compared to the hub bub people brought up with Japanese political take over in South East Asia. What's more ironic is that more people died in the political take over than the military one.

Chain of events leading to Poland:

Poland annexes lots of countries, no casualties.

I don't see much of a difference, except that the first one was more planned out. Both should automatically revert to how it was before, with no changes.

Errr... I am pretty sure people died in the Abbsinanian conflict, just no one bothered to post how many...Ended up coming out at 400,000 people when I worked it out... But yeah...

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Well anyways, since that's all over, both empires should be disbanded to the time before people started serious proxy control.

Fine by me, if Dusty agrees then I shall post a new rule that no nation can proxy another nation unless Archimage A gives permission, or Sere gives permission in Archimage A's case(and Visa Versa)

Excepting of course when one nation is proxyed by me in defence because it is an NPC...

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
