RIP HITPOINTS

Featured Replies

R.I.P hitpoints, this update is lame no offence.. now im gonna have to get used to these "consitution life points" and those 100+ hits...

rants can be discussed here.

RETIRED

Well, the only reall change is that decimal hits (6.4, 19.9, etc) used to be rounded down to 6 and 19, but are now 64 and 199, allowing for more experience. It might slightly affect combat and PvP, but the change is minimal. Honestly, how long does it take to multiply by 10? And "constitution life points" is a fancy name for hitpoints. I have no idea why you're ranting about a name, no matter how [developmentally delayed]ed it sounds.

To be honest, it doesn't bother me much, although I'll have to get used to saying life points vs. hit points. I kind of like it just because it's something new, however I feel sorry for the crew!

I know it takes long to get used to it, I almost had a shock of epicness reading the update.

What's been said must be done.

It's an extra digit. Get over it.

Agreed :D

Don't mind it. However we lost a part of the game's history with the lower damage/health digits which was a trait few RPG games shared with Runescape.

Still the King....

We get more precise hits and xp now. I cant see the bad thing about this update. And no, "it doesnt fit in runescape!" is not a reason.

Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.

It's just everything multiplied by 10. How hard can that be?

Actually this update does reduce the effectiveness of all food; assuming the extra digit gain is not truncated. (I haven't played yet, I don't know for sure.)

I disagree. Because I disagree so much, I'm going to tear your points apart, one by one (sometimes not even full sentences, but I'll knock 'em down anyway.

I'd prefer it if they put the decimal point in... mentally its what I've been doing anyway.

TBH, this update helps more than it hurts. My max hit with a rune scim, str ammy, prayer and pot used to be 24, while the amulet of power was 23. Now my max hit is ~245 with str ammy, and ~239 with power ammy.

Also, the monks in edgeville heal more now, 185ish each instead of 18 (for me).

99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me!
