I shoot the remaining zombies and pick up what they drop (there's at least one gun from the guy who shot at me), then I call Dog back.

I (and presumably Enigma as well) shoot at the mutated cat (me from my concealed position), trying to get a fatal shot.

Stephen:

You ambush the men, and open fire. You hit the first one in some vital organs, killing him. You manage to shoot another one in the chest, wounding him moderately. You completely miss the third one. The two men return fire, one missing, but the other manages to get a shot on your arm, sustaining minor injuries. (specify what gun you use, since you have the dbs)

Hakon:

You fire on the remaining 3 zombified men, moderately injuring one, and missing the others. They return fire, but all miss.

Varius/Enigma:

You both open fire on the mutant, but miss. It spots you in the hills, and begins running towards you.

Enigma attempts to shoot it in the heart, to avoid damage to the head.

What consequences are there of my minor injury?

 

If I'm going to be penalised for reloading, then I'll switch to shotgun. If not, I'll waste some more handgun ammo.

 

I basically keep shooting until they're all dead, or I am.

Kimako runs to find shelter, having been interrupted by some loud siren.

Stephen:

(You automatically reload at the end of each round. Basically, the clip size determines how many enemies you can shoot at, which would be 5 if you are using the 9mm handgun. The dbs only has 2 shots. Minor injuries are...minor. Just a little bleeding, but can become worse if not treated properly.)

You take another shot at the injured Monolithain, hitting him in the abdominal region, killing him. The last monolithain hits you, wounding you moderately, but you return fire, also wounding him moderately. Suddenly, he falls over, and begins squirming on the ground, loosing blood fast.

Enigma/Varius

You take a shot at the mutant, but miss. Varius, however, hits it in the leg, causing it to limp. It has almost reached your encampment.

Kimako:

You realize that the situation has been dealt with.

[Seraphi]

Enigma jumps to the side and throws his combat knife at the cats neck, before emptying the entire clip into it's side.

[Nexaduro]

Varius attempts to shoot at the cats underside, or if it gets too close, roll out of the way and shoot its side. I knife it if it gets within knife range. I avoid headshots.

I shoot at the zombies some more, calling for backup from Dog.

Enigma:

You surprise the mutant, and manage to sink your knife into its neck. Unfortunately, you stumble, and pull the knife back out, doing moderate damage. You then whip out your pistol, and unload your clip into the mutant, killing it. The head is in good condition.

+0.2 melee prof.

Varius:

The cat is already dead.

 

Hakon:

You miss all of the zombified loners, but dog runs in, and manages to bite the wounded one's neck, killing it.

Jen goes and talks with the people at the Anarchy faction, telling them that with her "group's help", they could spread their faction across the wasteland.

[Seraphi]

Ares messages the commander, then hauls the corpse back to the Duty outpost.

 

He splits the reward with Varius 50/50

[Nexaduro]

Varius keeps watch on the way back, and helps drag the corpse when needed.

I pause to heal.

Jen (name change?):

The Freedom guard tells you that Duty would be interested in "government" help. He states that there was a patrol spotted north of your location.

 

Enigma:

You haul the cat back to the base. The commander thanks you for your time, and hands you and Varius 200c, along with giving you an MP5 (good quality, good condition, 15 round clip)

 

Stephen:

You heal yourself, using your medkit. The last monolithain dies from blood loss.

I shoot at one, telling Dog to kill the other.

Kimako asks the anarchists if she will have some backup, or maybe some equipment to destroy the patrol. She says that her government is still trying to covertly sneak into England without being detected, which is rather quite difficult.

Varius goes and asks the trader how much MP5 ammo costs.

 

(How much ammo do I have? This computer can't use the "show" lists. MP5 can fire auto, semi auto, and burst right?)

I loot their bodies!

[Seraphi]

Enigma checks which ammo the MP5 uses (Before realising it's still 9mm, :wall: ), before asking the commander if he could officially join Duty, along with his companion.

 

He tells Varius that Duty probably has access to an armoury with cheaper prices for members, so he should wait till we can join for now.

[Nexaduro]

"Hehe, Enigma, are you sure we should commit to a faction? I'm a roamer, an infiltrator, I'm not sure Duty would appreciate that... Then again, maybe they could use an agent on the inside of, oh say, Freedom? Hehehe."

[Seraphi]

"It's for the best."

Kimako:

The man tells you that they don't want government intervention, and that the patrol they told you about is a rival faction, that supports order and government.

 

Stephen:

You loot a medkit and some 9mm ammo (10). You continue to the area that the renegade leader specified.

Varius:

MP5 uses 9mm rounds. The trader offers you 10 rounds for 50 credits. (the MP5 uses semi-auto and full auto, haven't worked out burst yet)

You have 76 rounds left.

 

Hakon:

The leader looks at you, and then says, "We are willing to have more recruits, so I don't see why not. You and your friend have proven yourself. If you join, you will not only be in the most prestigious faction, but will also recieve a 20% discount at the trader."

"Yes, Enigma. It likely is. And for every door closed, another opens! Heh."
