Denith
What can I say? It's absurd that anyone could think they could even measure these things properly. Food, environment, economical position, and even work-place, are all factors that could make certain diseases more likely to occur, so even if statistically, more people of a certain race have cancer for instance, it could possibly just be that a large portion of that race is more exposed to the sun or something like that. But can't you also include race as one of those factors?
TTanT
Isn't the reason African Americans are more likely to get sickle cell anemia because being a carrier of it makes you highly resistant to malaria? Oh, and as for my bigotedness: I tend to be wary of African Americans. I feel a bit nervous. I do my best to suppress it, but the fact that African Americans are a tiny minority where I live means that I don't really know any, and therefore can't dispel my inner-bigot. Or, as a man once said. "I'm not a bigot! I hate everybody!" PS:Sexism test time! [hide=Sexism Test]A man and his son are riding together in a truck, and the truck crashes. Since they are between two towns and both towns have crowded hospitals, the fatehr is taken to one town's hospital, and the son to the other. When the doctor comes in to operate on the son:"I can't operate on this person, it's my son." [hide=answer] It was his mother. [/hide] [/hide] The only difference between Hitler and the man next door who comes home and beats his kids every day is circumstance. The intent is the same-- to harm others.[hide=Tifers say the darndest things]I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.I would laugh, not hate. Even if one race is statistically more tending to... experience heart attacks, it could be for other reasons and not necessarily because of the race, which would mean that even if it was/is correct, you can't know that for sure, and thus any researches are mostly inaccurate and pointless. Melanin determines what one's skin color is, and its found in many parts of the body, however it also has idk what you call them... melanin like substances? Sure. That are related to melanin (i.e. if theres a lot of melanin, there will be less of this etc.) and some are found in the brain, and some in the immune system, maybe thats how science figured it out. I'd post a link to the wikipedia article, but it says it needs an expert to comment on it. XD keep an open mind though. And completely unrelated but I found this while looking around google LOLhttp://www.christiananswers.net/q-aig/race-blacks.html I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001.
