Huh, I'm guessing you got this idea from Fable. If Runescape is ever updated with regards to graphics, then yes, Tatoo's would be the shizzle.

no runescape is in java so it is a little slow. you can have 30 difrent guys on the screen at a time in the banks imanie the lag you would get. also the only places were you would see it would be your arms legs and face + they would have the make sur they dont affend anyone

your idea is solid, but runescape is just not ready for it. maybe in rs3 :D :lol:

Considering that my character's nose is about one pixel big and the lack of a mouth, I doubt that tatoos will be implemented.

I had this idea just the other day, perhaps make it a new mage armour of sorts. Different coloured tattoo patterns that are full body, when the full outfit is there, perhaps just a loincloth or something.

Somehow, a mage armour consisting of tattoos and a loincloth disturbs me. Sounds more like a warrior thing than a mage thing.

Sounds more tribal to me, it would work better if there were shamen in rs, but out of the "classes" (there really aren't any classes in rs2) available, warrior would be most suited. However, what would you do in the case of someone who gets high combat, gets a tattoo, then goes ranger or mage? Delete the tattoo?

I think you guys are getting a different impressions of tattoo patterns then I. I don't see warriors at all wearing full body length tribal scar patterns. It sounds more magical to me than anything else. (What self-respecting warrior in their right mind would run into a battle almost naked? Well...probably lots of them...but that's not the point!)

I think its a good idea. the tats dont have to be extremely detailed. Lke he's saying: the tutorial dude has one and it looks cool. And ur character doesn't have to be nearly naked to show them, u could have face tats and stuff.

try improving graphics first, then implementing tatoos. Like the idea though

They can have magical powers and act as armour, like an amulet of defense.

alot of people that play RS2 are 10-15(including me) wouldnt it be innapropriaate for kids my age starting to want tattoos at my age?

And wouldn't it be inappropriate for you children to learn how to hack people with swords and turn them into pincushions at your age?

Childish to even buy a tatoo..

maybe they'd increase attack or streghnth as a scare factor thing
