No, if im providing the service, the only thing you could do is put a sort of parental control on each internet device in your country.

In other news, Kazakhia will be selling special Ipod touches to any resident of china for just $100 each. They are hacked to be able to pick up satellite internet.

Just $100! thats pretty expensive y'no.

Anyway, If I want to censor internet i'll shoot down your satellite, or do the work around which is blocking your internet connection in mainland china.

Or even targeting it so if it is picked up the computer is sent a virus.

Troops have arrived at Thailand and a base is being set up.

So, for the next 9 years, is there any way to make any extra money, or do I have one year of IAG to rely on?

I have a little suggestion, if we all like it i'd rather ask Archi to make the thread.

Make me a commander. Allow me to directly pilot my ship and gradually build a fleet.

Anyway, at the moment the hegemonys fun, but it lacks a bit of the real world. One person isn't going to make a difference in the hegemony, anyway. We all like Dungeoneering, its the most popular thread in Falador Tavern. I was thinking, what if we combine the two?

Maybe we could have tripwires, and guns in the walls so the only way to actually enter through a wall is sending a single man through a service tunnel and killing the guards by stealth?

We could have fights, aiming guns and stuff. You could play as a single person within a battle, and you'd get a bonus

If you want to play modern Dungeoneering, we have 2025.

No way that we could affect nations with a single person, and I doubt people would like that at all.

Player X: I send an army of 500,000 troops with the most advanced supply systems and tanks

Player Y: Due to my awesome character, your troops all fall into a pit and die of poisoning from the food that they can eat in there.

Master of your domain? I am Lord of the manor, Queen of the castle, King of the county!

Interesting concept. I'm trying to make my game large-scale-small-scale in a similar kind of way. The players function more like NPCs, and I make some of the decisions for them based on what I think they would do in the situation. That will work better once they've played for a while, though.

10:53 PM - retech9691: I feel the need
10:53 PM - retech9691: To include many chasms in my story arc
10:53 PM - Resistance: You mean plotholes?

I don't actually mean in the battlefield, but maybe there could be other ways to do things then brute force.

Climbing over the tungsten super wall?

Sending a ninja to steal tech?

Sending some subersive people to bomb infastructure?

Sending drones to randomly kill the population?

I also like the idea of making things impossible to pass by simply bombing and shooting it, maybe you have to enter through a gun booby trapped service tunnel, the specs could be PMed to archi and only moles would be able to get information and such. Or you could take a wild guess :)

I guess I'm not part of this 'we all' group. No. If you want to play Dungeoneering, go play that. This is Hegemony.

Greece declares war on Albania. Roughly 140,000 Greek troops cross the border and engage the pitfully small Albanian army, which would undoubtedly be caught by surprise by the war (they have an active military of a little over 10,000).

Anyways, Arch can decide how it goes. Undoubtably half my invasion force will end up dieing from a single mine and the rest will get dysentery, but whatever.

30,000 fully equipped Italian troops along with 3,000 main battle tanks pile out of transport ships and into Tunisia, heading for the one necessary city for capture.

Meanwhile, 65 AMX and 40 Eurofighters harass the troops in that city, while attempting to avoid civilian casualties.

20,000 more troops are waiting to be deployed, and a further 50,000 are still in reserve.

Unless I am very wrong historically you never want to attack albania (though it could be a different one of those countries that are historically masters at gorilla warfare)

Lolwut. What history book have you been reading?

Albania has been conquered by the Romans, the Greeks, the Byzantines, the Ottomans, the Serbs, the Venitians, and undoubtedly a number of others (those ones were just off the top of my head). Yeah, pro guerrilla fighters hehe.

I'm not sure I am probably (read definitely) wrong. I probably got one of those countries mixed up though

I think you're just confusing the general conflict-ness of the Balkans with the ability to fight.

The country you're never supposed to invade is Russia.

Or get involved in a land war in Asia.
