VEGHATERMEATLOVER
Also, I really think the two hours to move troops rule is kinda [developmentally delayed]ed. That's a month in game time. It might take about two hours for a large scale invasion, but to land 10,000 troops from 200 miles away should take 30 minutes top. Like Dusty said, Archi designed the rules so that the rules weren't lax enough to allow idiocy. However, the rules aren't perfect. I think we should talk about getting some rules revised so they can't be abused, to be honest. I personally think that the zero military rule should be abolished and some things like what Doom pointed out need to be revised. We're still early enough in the game where we can revise some things and work out all of the bugs.No rules were abused. What's basically happened is, I attacked Ross and a big shouting match went on so I decided to withdraw to end it. If we are going to keep the military we have I'm just going to march around with a finely trained army of 7.5 million all armed and ready. It's stupid Sere otherwise things like that will happen. Nero
Hex, you must not have been around much if you think that was a shouting match. And lol Ross, I expect to see 1000foot walls made out of tungsten when I do decide to invade. Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino

The Dark Lord
Secret 1000 foot walls of tungsten. Lol. Didn't Grim secretly nuke Dusty's wall in the last game. Also, adding to the military suggestion: To prevent large armies, just cap it off at 500,000 for a professional army and 100,000 for militia. That was the only other reason why Archi had to get rid of the militaries. Even if we continue this, someone like Hex will just keep a massive army of 7.5 million people. In the long run, we have the same problems as what Archi feared -- the sole reason why he imposed this rule. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on. Retech
What the freaking hell? I go to a concert, and come back, Ross is being attacked by Hex...already. The United States offers its support to Iran, but apoligizes that the leader was in a temporary coma, so was unable to deploy soldiers to aid Iran. Also, the United States encourages Iran to convince OPEC to embargo oil from China, while the United States (and soon to be Canada, the largest source of oil in the world!) will do the same. Retech
I'm a busy man, don't have a lot of time for this atm. 100,000 Egyptian troops (of my 800,000) are dispatched to defend Iran from whoever the hell is attacking Iran. If it is Mather or Hex, a 200,000 man offensive is being prepared. -Rocco Your offensive is prepared. (It's Hex) This zerg rushing thing reminds me of the thing I tried to do to Mather, or at least threatened it. Now I feel so bad. Sorry Mather. :( Master of your domain? Nero
Army cap is determined by logistics really. Sending an army of 5 million across the globe to go invade nowhereistan is going to result in them dieing of starvation. Dusty my thought process was: I am going to loose this. I will make him pay. I also nuked most of your major cities though. I remember you claiming you nuked my industrial centres, which was impossible since they were all on Yggdrasil and Holmgard, protected by defenses spanning across 20 light years. The Dark Lord
We will still need caps of some sort for our militaries, otherwise Hex will just automatically raise an army of 7.5 million people. And Dusty has a point. A cap of 500,000 professional soldiers would be too heavy-handed to impose on EVERYONE. However, I still think that something similar (even if it's arbitrary) should be decided and then imposed on each individual person. Retech
No, definitely not. Hex gets his advantage of manpower. But when he wants to supply, clothe, house, and arm 7.5 million dudes, he'll pay the price. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/special/iraq/3828480.html It'll be quite easy though. If we all send 100,000 troops to China and send them in different places, rampaging around, he can't stop them all. All the fighting will wreck his infrastructure too. Master of your domain?
