Retech
Space elevators are stupid. If you can use a Space fountain, then it's actually within our current technological capacity, sooooooo that's why I'm researching that. Cheaper and better. :P Master of your domain? Wisp
Ah right, we're all wrong, I forgot the decade system. Oh well. Matter Gates should give the same effect if you build one in orbit, if not more. Hegemony-Spain

jasignhagj
Oh, forgot. These projects were done a while ago, i just didn't post them. Hovercrafts - Our scientists have made a breakthrough on hovercraft research. They have created a prototype vehicle that can hover about 13 inches off the ground. This works by installing an extremely powerful electromagnet on the bottom of the car, which repels the earth's magnetic core. We are testing different methods of propulsion, from fans to rocket fuel. This is highly experimental however, and the project has been extended. (OK, I know the scientific stuff is complete BS, but just go with it) Railguns - Our scientists have successfully created a prototype railgun that can shoot through a 4 in. thick sheet of steel. Far more R&D is still needed, and this project has also been extended in conjunction with solar panel research. New - HUD displays for soldiers. This project is trying to create a HUD contact lens like device for soldiers, which would let them easily identify allies, enemies and objectives on the battlefield. Projects - Archi, can i get research times for these?Hover - Rail - Solar - Retina -
The Dark Lord
Don't hovercrafts already exist? I'm pretty sure the Navy has one that can go way higher than that, although I think that it uses fans to propel itself. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on. Icuownage
Hmmm, of course, if people clubbed together...and Space exploration is still pretty expensive, even for Grim...he is spending a whole decade's worth of cash building his ship. Then how is he researching? It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? Icuownage
Well he can't research anymore, it should get cancelled now :S, he just earned 9 (or more) years of research for free :S It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? The_Mather1
Actually, Terran derives from terra or terrestial, as in in ground, you've heard the saying "terra firm", right? Twitter: @TheMather1
archimage_a
terra firma c.1600, "part of the Italian mainland ruled by Venice," from Mod.L. terra firma, lit. "firm land," from L. terra "earth, land" (see terrain) + firma "firm," fem. of firmus (see firm (adj.)). Meaning "the land" (as distinct from "the sea") is first attested 1690s. Terran "of or pertaining to the planet Earth," 1881, in science fiction writing, from L. terra (see terrain). Also used as a noun meaning "inhabitant of the Earth" (1953). An earlier form, terrene was used in M.E. in sense of "belonging to this world, earthly, secular, temporal" (c.1300), later, "of the Earth as a planet" (1635). Belonging to this world, this time and this level(in terms of spiritial levels).Seemingly. Better song for the alliance:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTEpiFcn0wI The current version sounds awfully like (Which is less damning than where the music is actually from =P) http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree.
