Well, somebody blocked one of my main routes of expansion, so I haven't much choice at this point. I need the money, not the land.

 

How is the Congo blocking your route of expansion? Just as long as you don't harm the villagers or oust the Christians (including the Knights), there shouldn't be any problems. However, if you do go in and slaughter them, we won't do anything about it, but you will have the blood of well over a thousand martyrs on your hands...

 

It's your choice, though. If you go into Europe, then you are guaranteed to be committing suicide. If you do expand further south in Africa and play your cards right, there shouldn't be any problems. The Grand Master never said that his men would automatically retaliate. He merely stated that they would protect the villagers at all costs.

Heartbeat sensor, makes me think of CoD XD. It wont ever be useful in the middle of battle due to so many allies around you. Useful for stealth missions though.

No, it couldn't rule out the heartbeats, people don't have magical unique heartbeats. The only way I could see it working is if it didn't pick it up through your exosuits, generally making it a weak wave. Meaning it wouldn't pick up heavy troops.

But the monitor would have detected the loss of a hearbeat and informed them of Tim being shot. (After all, sudden drop in heartbeat to zero isn't the same as it fading out with distance.)
