Wait, why exactly did it take 1 year for Britain to annex Denmark? Also, Luxembourg was never annexing the Netherlands. It was annexing Belgium.

Yes...Then Grim, Sere, RPG, and possibly Retech and Doom had a 'word' with them. Basically saying 'If you don't surrender we will bomb the crap out of your country then enslave your people.'

Obvouisly Luxembourg wasn't that scary, neither was Belgium....But then Britian, Norway, France, Germany and Italy, The USA and Canada got in on the act and it got scary, so the countries folded to avoid getting annhilated then annexed.

If you ever surround a country and have a superiority in numbers then you can force them to surrender.

Byzantium announces that it will destroy any research station related to this abomination.

Its there. The one way to acheive AIs. Rather than a research project or something.

2. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm, except where this would conflict with the First Law.

3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Yeh, in hegemony v2 I was planning on making one, I made on arm as a spaceship and everyone got confused to why I had put a gigantic hammer inside it (like a gun) I never got around to doing anything else.

But just think about how easy (yet expensive) it would be to produce and how useful it would be, just think gigantic builders!

Oh Archi, my satellites do a little flyby on the countries of Africa. Basically if you use the tip of madagascar (northern part) and draw a line horizontally across Africa, any countries on that line and under that line. (Excluding South Africa)

1. It should realise it is not the one ordered to do so by the speaker, there's "never" anyone commanding the viewer to do something, and it could be avoided by just adding a name or all-of-class-[enter class] in front of the command.

2. Neither are attempts to harm the leader or perform a coup d'etat, any parody or diplomatic opposition neither (legaly) use force as a means.

3. That is where the best outcome part comes in, as the AI should in that case attempt to save as many as possible, and not only the existance of the nation itself.

Hey, the radioactive coating was actually a good idea.

If I didn't scrap all my ships to start again (I kicked myself after I did that) I could have won. Or at least ended up on a galactic stalemate. Since I was pretty much unattackable. Defensive strategy for the win.

And yeah, my population was huge, but it slipped under the "Natural Disaster" radar, because I didn't draw attention to it. Kind of lulzy.

Then I built a huge computer and tried to wreck physics.

"There is nothing more important to me than [social problem]" Pressing matter override.

The name/class safeguard seems sensible, though tedious.

2.You are inferior to [enter leader], you must do whatever is in your power to avoid anyone from harming him or doing a coup d'etat in even a small section of his domain.

2. Neither are attempts to harm the leader or perform a coup d'etat, any parody or diplomatic opposition neither (legaly) use force as a means.

So its alright to steal part of his domain, but not ok to steal part of his domain...And what about doing harm to his political image or something such as that? The problem with defacto statements is that they are generalisations, either they apply in all circumstances or they apply in none.

3. When orders are not recieved you must do what is best for the [enter nation] empire and it's allies in whatever manner that would have the best outcome.

3. That is where the best outcome part comes in, as the AI should in that case attempt to save as many as possible, and not only the existance of the nation itself.

Query: Does saving the leader from death override saving the nation?

Answer: Yes

Conclusion: If Leader is kidnapped and kidnappers demand that the country is sterlised before he is released then proceed to sterlise the nation.

Further, by killing a small number of humans, say the army, scientists and politians...it would be possible to prevent wars and thus would be the best outcome for the nation.

To be honest your rules have glaring holes in because they try to specify using abstract terms... like 'harm', 'nation', 'best', 'domain', 'whatever'....

My rules are simply better.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Research for "The Battlestation" begins.

[hide=Poorly made illustration]tankthing.png[/hide]

1. RPG launcher

2. Mounted Machine gun

3. Cannon, launches huge shells

4. Anti-air unit

5. Artilliary unit

6. Smaller cannon, 360 degree coverage.

That black thing along the bottom is its tracks, making it mobile.

The walls are made of reinforced steel. There is a windsheild, made of one foot thick bullet proof glass.

Night vision tech included.

Does 15 years of research sound fair?

Kirby it seems fine, but looks like signficant case of over kill... Something like that coming onto the battlefield will just be targetted by everything...Will probably cost around 300,000 to deploy.

It's actually more of a defense weapon, or (when used in an invasion) to be at the back of the fleet. Sort of an all-around protection thing.

Archi, here's my "invasion" of Greenland. I don't think it's that complicated, but if you need a map, I can go and make one.

Basically five super carriers, 50 frigates, and 50 destroyers surround the southern and southwestern side of Greenland, demanding immediate surrender. If they do not surrender, the 500 F-22s (which aren't deployed before this point) wtfpwn all the enemy military bases and airbases (assuming they are outside cities), while fifty thousand soldiers with 500 M1 Lincoln tanks each land at three separate points a decent distance away from each city.

Then they move to engage the enemy (away from the cities), then surround the cities and demand surrender again.

Objective of the mission is to make Greenland surrender. They are also warned that there are another 500,000 troops waiting to reinforce the first wave of attackers, incase that fails.

A huge amount of new factories are being funded by the government, and more and more are being built. Most of these factories are robotized (existing tech), so labor costs are minimized. Some of these factories are producing guns, ammunition, and the like. Some are producing vehicles, and other are producing nanofiber. The human genome project has gone as follows: First, we started over, since technology has increased so much, to erase the massive mistakes made by the original. Now, it is based off of four people, but their genomes remained separate. After that, we categorized the entire genomes of thousands of people, and tracked every single one of their noticeable traits. All this information was fed into millions of powerful computers in genetic labs around the country, finding patterns and similarities in genes. This has been continuing over the past 12 years, and we are nearing completion, and thus full understanding of the human genome.

Nuclear research has increased efficiency, and opened up 3 new plants, powering 45% of the country's needs (aprox 141 gwh annually.)

Project Godlr+1 is 2 years from completion.

Project FM's is going well.

Considering greenland has like 56,000 people living there, I'd say they surrender. But they're part of denmark, so you're declaring war on them too.

Archi, as it is, if we follow the 20k troops per city rule, Greenland has more troops than population.

Denmark was already annexed by Britannia. It appears Greenland is not part of it, or else Greenland would belong to Britannia.
