Tanks are 6-9 million each for a good one, which is why I said it doesn't matter. I think the US cost per troop is around 400k. To train, and pay for the troops, if you want a decent army, it'll cost probably 200k over two years to train and pay. Remember, for ever dollar you pay a soldier, your probably spending 10 more to equip, and train him.

Archi, here's my "invasion" of Greenland. I don't think it's that complicated, but if you need a map, I can go and make one.

 

 

 

 

Basically five super carriers, 50 frigates, and 50 destroyers surround the southern and southwestern side of Greenland, demanding immediate surrender. If they do not surrender, the 500 F-22s (which aren't deployed before this point) wtfpwn all the enemy military bases and airbases (assuming they are outside cities), while fifty thousand soldiers with 500 M1 Lincoln tanks each land at three separate points a decent distance away from each city.

 

Then they move to engage the enemy (away from the cities), then surround the cities and demand surrender again.

 

 

 

Objective of the mission is to make Greenland surrender. They are also warned that there are another 500,000 troops waiting to reinforce the first wave of attackers, incase that fails.

Overkill much? Greenland doesn't even have an army..

That's to outfit. Training and food and ammunition and things that aren't one time payments is where the real cost is.

That doesn't include their salary either, I don't think.

The point is, if you want to give them a little bit of money, and equip them, and give them almost no training, it can cost you like 40k a soldier. Anything more than that and you need to pay a lot.

150 Billion is taken out, so I still have some left to pay for the bullet trains, and people are already donating to that so I don't have to pay a LARGE amount of money.

Well if you want them to be elite they should, logically cost more than normal soldiers. And the food thing, that assumes you have no active duty soldiers, that they are all reserve.

Well as the elites are only guarding the nation, they get food like a regular citzen, so I guess yeah, reserves.

 

THe 400k troops will be used, and thus cost food, but they're not elite. So lets leave it at what I did above, it all works out.

Various Science Grants= 1%ish

Bullet Trains 45% (1.5t paid) (1/12 yrs)

Factories=8%
