In exchange for having him get a research for free.

Well it is extremely useful, in the long term more beneficial than most things you could probably offer, and this one doesn't even put me at a disadvantage, not in anyway.

Of course, someone could very easily bomb a university. If I were to offer someone land, that's a little harder to take away.

Well actually, if anyone did that, I think the nations involved, I.E Mather, Grim, Retech. Would get pissed that it got destroyed, and would consider you an enemy.

 

Also not to mention the amount your own citzens would hate you now that you have killed some of the greatest minds on Earth and have now pushed back research from possible cures for horrible diseases, I mean they wont be to happy either.

 

Basically, destroy it, you'll be considered a tyrant.
