200,000 troops, 150 tanks and 400 fighter planes arrive at the southernmost city of new guinea, ordering an immediate surrender, or we attack. If the country surrenders, New Guinea is ours. If the city surrenders, follow the next arrow and order a surrender of the next city. We threaten to totally decimate the cities, army and civilian.

 

If, despite us outnumbering their troops tenfold, they don't surrender, we attack. We only attack civilians if they attack us first, and troops are ordered to do as little damage to the infrastructure as possible.

 

After that lovely bloodbath, if we have at least 150k troops remaining, we move on to the next city. If we have less, we remain at the city. If (somehow) we lose, we fall back to Austraila, where an additional 50,000 troops are waiting. No more is done (this turn) after that.

A satellite fly by is organized by the French government the results of which are given to the australian government free of charge.

Hmm Archi, are we allowed to make wonders up, if so can I work on one similar to bullet trains as long as I design it and fully make a concept for it, I will then stop building bullet trains.

This system needed discussion and balancing before being implemented. There is still time to do so, before it becomes too far to reverse it without causing all sorts of problems.

Well, the increase by 5 thing has already been explained by Retech, so hopefully that is not a problem now.

I have been thinking about what you said though and can suggest a fix...Aid Missions.

 

They increase the infrastructure by twice that of spend on infrastructure for the 'mother country' and give the 'son' country gains in 20% of whatever that amount is, directly to its IAG.

So America spending 10% of the budget(200 Billion) on aid missions to Iran would mean:

America gains .2 Infrastructure

Iran gains 40 Billion in IAG.

 

The condition to the aid missions is that the 'son' country cannot increase grow beyond half its 'mother' country's IAG and still be on aid missions.

That would provide an incentive for large countries to improve small countries, without small countries being god modded to power to balance out the rich countries.

I do sympathise with you Ross, the wonder system could have been handled differently...But the intention of the system was to siphon off the massive excess budgets people had, prevent things like Doom's 'In a few years I can cure all diseases' research projects which are over powered but no one says anything because its quite useful, and give people a way to improve their countries, without allowing people to do, as in the last game, build things like the Basal Dam.

 

I understand what you are trying to do with the system, but I'm not entirely sure it's the right way about it (Then again, since no alternative has yet been suggested (I can't think of anything), I suppose we will have to adapt this system.

 

The aid mission system is a good solution, but not without it's flaws. It still allows the rich countries to overtake all the small countries very quickly, but I suppose that is neglible.

Work on exoskeletons begins. Should take 10 years to produce the first generation exoskeletons, then another 5 until they are being produced at a decent rate.

 

Work on a new line of weaponry specially adapted to the exoskeleton, but usable by regular foot soldiers, begins. Will be done at the same time as the regular exoskeletons.

While Iran would gain 100 Billion

 

50%(1 trillion) would gain Iran 200 Billion and America would gain 1 point of infrastructure.

 

So it would probably only take one or two decades for the smaller countries to catch up with the larger countries...but the richer countries control the rate at which the poorer countries grow...So they get an advantage as well.

So basically the mother country gets two times the normal rate of infrastructure in exchange for helping another country?

Speeding up: Each country getting involved takes 4 years off, each trillion takes off 3

India beings construction off this, and stops building bullet trains, they send a letter of apology to Italy saying they were rude for arguing with them, and hopes to keep a relation with them, they also offer to help with the bullet trains, in return Italy is only required to help with the merchant square and not donate.

On second thoughts, I like this system. It may be a little ugly (perhaps not the right word, but ah well), but it works very well.

I'm only ok with that wonder if the doubled Infrastructure speed does not carry over to aid missions, otherwise you'd get 4x.
