Hegemony

The aid missions seem pretty OP tbh, what exactly is stopping the USNA from sending an aid mission to Japan so that one gets insane IAG growth, and the other gets insane infrastructure growth?

So after this one, I get another year from Sere, and a year after that from Mather, which leaves me at about 1t.

If they're okay with that, of course.

Annexing Nepal + Bhutan.

I just saw a film named 'the invention of a lie' and I really liked it.

Yeh it is overpowered and unrealistic.

Basically its encouraging people to start another NWO.

Don't know whyanyones doing it unless Ross will do it back.

Hurr. You don't get the system at all. It's designed to help the smaller nations develop. The larger nations also get the benefit of double infrastructure development.

Also, The invention of lying was a bad movie.

Dusty, aid mission?

Step by step guide to how it works?

'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

Country A sends aid mission to country B

Country A gains double whatever percentage they sent to the country, divided by 100, in infrastructure.

Country B gains 20% of the money sent directly to it's IAG.

Country A must have an IAG at least double that off Country B...

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Its not going to be used so that 'smaller countrys can develop' I mean, theres tons of huge superpowers with less then half of Retech.

I don't see why we have to introduce all these silly things to the new hegemony.

So isn't it better to do an aid mission than invest in your own country?

'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

Dungeonal, potentially...if you invest in a country which then declares war on you...not so much.

About the IAG/Infrastructure stuff...Somewhen near the third can you just send me all the information to factor in...I am keeping track, but just to be sure..

Anywho:

Italy invades Tiawan and smushes it.

Total cost to Italy: 38,000,000,000

Treasury: 1,038,231,000,000

Infrastructure: 1.1

Egypt continues to invade and barely makes it.

Casualties: 160,000

Total cost to Egypt: 18,200,000,000

Treasury: 44,645,000,000

Infrastructure: .2

Analysists say that unless Egypt can get the infrastructure problem under control it may lose part of its empire.

The South Asian Federation attacks Hextopia, making some inroads after being given permission to cross Egyptian territory.

Byzantia forces Jordan to surrender.

Total cost of Byzantine posturing: 12,600,000,000

Treasury: 169,360,200,000

Infrastructure: 0.7

Yeh it is overpowered and unrealistic.
Japan after the Second World War...

Italy after the Second World War...

Germany after the First World War...

They didn't just magic grow overnight, other countries invested a tonne of money in them.

Even something like the British Empire, it grew because the Native Americans, by virtue of getting pillage by the Spanish and the Spanish ships getting captured...was paid for by other countries...

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

In real life, an aid mission works like this.

You give money, food, water or shelter to anotehr country.

You gain nothing.

So, if a country wants to give another country money they can, they shouldn't gain something for it.

Hex, without the Aid system in place, the game becomes "Superpowers instawin all the game because the little countries can't catch them at all in any way."

But thats just unreal.

Food is never controlled by a government, it belongs to the business's that sell the food. That gives nothing to the government (apart from taxes) so basically your encouraging superpowers to boost up there allys, pretty silly.

Shutup, you just want another NWO.

you pick out all these problems in the hegemony, maybe you should play civilization.

"the game just becomes..."

its already pretty cocked up with uneqaulity atm

Sigh...You don't give money to the government, you give money to bussiness, who then give money to the government...Its called economic theory... We simplify because Hegemony is not about numbers its about playing a game...

Ditto.

I wonder if I could get someone aid me next decade, I mean if Ross gets to go up to a 1T then I should be able to if I get aid missions too.

Anyone want to aid me in the next decade?

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Hey, Archi.

Don't be a douche, because I don't agree with your systems your putting up a 'should Hex be kicked off poll' for the second time.

meatlover.png

People keep asking for it.

"Members of the south asian union"

Hex, you've been a deuche, if you're not banned then death-by-war is imminent.

I have 400B, if a country suddenly goes above me who was originally lower than me, then I want to keep on par, in all fairness it still helps the countries who invest too.

I still have 500B that retech gave me for my wonders, but I have no use for it as 500B does nothing, if he doesn't mind me spending it, I might just use a concept like aid missions where I give it to myself and gain 20% of it which is 100B

Sounds fair, as it is basically like Retech helping me, its money he has already spent.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Ico, the money Retech sent you was for the project... if you cancelled the project then the money goes back or is lost.

Never though Mather would defend me...

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Ok, I'll aid you next decade.

Japan begins a coup d'etat in polynesia.

You can't just 'decide that'

What if the soldiers love the pay and conditions in the french polynesian island?
