sees_all1
I've gained about 6-7k runecrafting experience exclusively from Dungeoneering. When the skill was released, the XP was originally 1/10th what the outside world gives. This was fine with me, it felt like a good balance between experience and time - training RC outside of Dungeoneering was faster. Then, they messed something up and gave massive XP, so we got rollbacks. Now RC gives 1/50th the experience. That makes it too slow to craft runes for any normal purpose. Jagex, please stop messing with experience. The appropriate way to balance experience / hour is to :1. Change the timing. Make crafting runes slower OR2. Change the cost of Ess. Make crafting runes more expensive OR3. Cap amounts of a certain rune crated in a certain time period. You don't need 1000 deaths or blood runes for one dungeon. Now that you've super nerfed it, it would be appropriate to make all runecrafting instant. By that, I mean craft 100+ ess at once. Quit changing the XP we get!!!! 99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me! ♪♪ Don't interrupt me as I struggle to complete this thoughtHave some respect for someone more forgetful than yourself ♪♪♪♪ And I'm not doneAnd I won't be till my head falls off ♪♪

Bladewing
It doesn't seem to me as a way to train other skills. I think I've probably only had 1k xp in each skill max aside from combats while dungeoneering. Incorporates all skills? Yeah. Trains them? Hardly. langer
They should have let the 10 xp per craft, but boosted up the number of runes crafted at once to 50. This would have lowered the time spent RCing in dungeons while not broking the XP gained. That's a good logical conclusion; however, if you agree that dungeoneering as it first came out had minimal exp rewards that were not enough to 'actively train' these skills then why is it necessary to lower these further? Dungeoneering is trained by exploring through dungeons and utilize your skills to survive. You need these skills in order to be successful, so some marginal compensation is due. 1/10 was adequate. 1/50 is not.

It seemed like it was generous exp at lower levels but at level 50 it isn't even fast at all. I can see elemental runes being nerfed to 1/50 however the combat runes like chaos+ should go back to 1/10 exp! Another problem is that you can only bind 125 runes or arrows at once to your account! What is the point of this? It's ridiculous. I can easily use 1k+ runes especially if it is a big map chosen. I want at least 1k-10k runes or arrows to be bindable.
Youmu
Actually, after this fix, air runes once again sell for 12 coins each, so you can still perpetually train runecrafting. Still, this is a rather bad idea.
