Figured it out. I basically had to reboot my computer (and basically wipe and replace it with a new windows), so I didn't have Java. Now to install that, and it should be fine.

What happened in the session when I was gone? Also, is it still going on or did it end?

its done. i died, we killed the bone spur. i made new charecter

"Just as the party approaches the chapel, hoping the nightmare is over, the ground itself swallows the party whole. They awake in a tomb, filled with riddles and zombies. Evenetually, they come to a room filled with chests, among other things (Bones. Lots of bones.) After traipsing around in the room for a short time, they feel the vengeful earth howling at them again, and, before they know it, there is a 15 foot tall goliath made of bone standing before them, it's heartless eyes staring into their very souls. After a long and tiring battle, Earth Poisonblade decides to take a final stand. Armed with a scythe he barely knows how to use, he takes a swing at the monstrous being. The swing connects, and the skeletal figure is pushed back from the blow. But alas, the scythe was magic, stealing the users life to deal more pain to the enemy. He swung again, smiting the boss, and smiting himself at the same time. Earth Poisonblade had become a martyr, for reasons unknown, seeing as the boss was near death anyway. Sorta lessens the impact of the whole scenario, doesn't it?"

 

Yeah, campaign isn't quite finished yet, theres still some plot to eat through, but I wanted everyone there for that, so we'll do it next week,

So did anyone get anymore loot after I left? Maybe the bone thingy dropped something, or there was something else in a chest? Also, any exp?

there was the bone suytche i used on the big guy, it was what was in the huge gimungous chest.

SoI actually did some research, and as it turns out, critical damage is not applied to vicious recoil.

I also found out that critical hits do not apply to undead. Although I'll disregard that for now.

Oh Ross, by next week, I'll have missed my third profession check, so I was wondering if I could do that anytime soon.

 

 

I believe you get half your profession check in gold pieces, and that the check is a d20. Then I add intel modifier of 5 and bluff and diplomacy of 5, giving me a +2 for each of them.

 

So that ends up as...

 

(3d20+42)/2

 

for the income I should've gotten up to next week.

Well you're the one who needs to keep track of these things. It's like items, you can't expect me to create and run campaigns, create monsters, traps and items, AND manage the players items.

 

Just remember to tell me at the start of each session.

 

Also, where did the +42 come from?

I didn't know how to do it in the first place, since the page on it is very vague.

 

 

So we have +5 intelligence modifer

Since I have diplomacy 5, that's another +2 (Synergy!)

I have bluff 5, that's another +2

 

So that's +9 per check, and since there are three checks, it's +27...

 

 

 

Ooops, I think I added 5 twice, my bad. So it's actually (3d20+27)/2

Er... I don't think you'll be able to take the previous rolls again. It's up to you to remember, and if you forget, well, you miss out on like 30 gold. It isn't that much.

Kay, but I did remember I asked what profession was, and then you gave me that PDF, and I still didn't understand, and then we dropped the thing because it was too confusing.

No session today or tommorow, due to me being exhausted from exams and having not even started the next campaign yet.

 

Besides, I want to kick back and play Monster Hunter Tri for a few hours later, too.
