Okay, I have begun the creation of the next campaign. Not revealing too much yet, but it will concern Igos' backstory, as requested by Paul. He will have a rudimentary map of some of the locations, (Which may or may not be false) and some other information.

 

His backstory is the most detailed out of everyone elses, and is easiest to work with. If you want a campaign based on your backstory, try coming up with something more creative than "He came from [Grimdark Location] with no memories"

I might, but I'll use it for when I want to turn into a shadow dancer. Which can explain how I get those powers.

Other members of the party (Grim, Paul, Icu), I was wondering if I could have 400 gp from the loot pile, instead of the 200gp I was supposed to get. In return, I will take 200 gp less out of the next loot pile.

Question for the DM: Can I bring a warhorse into a dungeon? If not, can I still keep it so that when we had an adventure that wasn't in a dungeon, I could use it then?

I think it'd depend on the dungeon XD.

 

Also why do you need an extra 200g?

If you're fighting on plains and stuff, yeah, but it's not like people are going to let you take it into buildings, and it wont go into caves.

Depends if you manage to get the horse on the way out of the cavern. If you've just travelled several miles underground and come out, having went under a lake or something before continuing, then no.

 

If you've gone in, retrieved something, and come out the same way, then yes.

Hmmm, is there any sort of fighting mount that can go into dungeons with you? Donkey and mules don't seem like a good choice.

Unless you go for something incredibly exotic (Which I WILL incur penalties for), then no, not really.

How about a giant spider?

Okay... Expect townsfolk pelting you with rocks, being called an unnatural monster, not being allowed into towns etc. though.

 

You're a drow. You'll probably be wearing a cloak and covering your face in towns anyway, having a giant spider with you is probably going to be a bad idea.

 

Remember, drow are pretty much hated on the surface. And drow are usually associated with spiders, so riding a spider around will pretty much scream "I'M A DROW, TRY TO KILL ME"

Heh, I think I have a solution for that though. It'll be interesting for the roleplaying aspect too.

You find it, then you fight it without killing it, capture it, then train it to not kill you and the party. The whole process should take maybe a year or two, in game time, assuming you don't die in the process.

It's stats would be exactly the same as the type of giant spider you captured.

Yes let's send a paladin and a cleric to a god directly opposed to the drow right into a stronghold of lolth. Thinking back on that Lolth would probably give you a spider.... it would probably be a yochol in disguise though. Oh and would the drow sell their god's holy creatures?

And is that an actual class? Even if it is, I'm not letting you take it unless you come up with some suitable backstory. I was kind of annoyed that you multiclassed a ranger with no explanation, but this really needs a decent story to it.

You put the ip into the direct tab and then hit go. I put your token in and such, then you control it.

 

Next session is Friday or Saturday, depending on when I finish making the campaign.

 

 

And a notice to all players:

 

Sessions after this weekend may be rather sparce. The two and a half weeks following this week are filled to the brim with exams (I literally have one per day next week), so will not have time to DM.

 

After those three weeks, sessions will probably be on more often, since I will have a heck of a lot more free time.
