Okay, almost good, but you only get one starting feat, and you still need to put your ranks into skills, which shouldn't take long. For the number of skill ranks you get, refer to the character page on the d20 SRD, and then check the "Skill points at first level"

 

Class skills take 1 point to rank up, non-class skills take 2.

I don't actually get how levels in skills effects what they do, the website had no real information, but I figured I had 40 skill points

They give you modifiers when performing certain tasks.

 

For instance, if you had 2 ranks in "Jump", then you would get a +2 to rolls which involve jumping.

 

If you connect, it'd be easier to explain. Just open it up, go to "File", then "Connect to server" then hit the direct tab, input the ip address, and then connect.
