Dungeoneering Reward Bags (Gem/Coal)

Featured Replies

I'm curious as to how they work before I trade any of them, if you carry them in your inventory while mining, will anything you mine go straight into the bag?

Also, is it possible to carry more than 1 of them in your inventory?

I wouldnt hold your breath for an answer.

Given the token costs of most items (epsecially the good ones) you have to gain 1m+ xp without buying anything to get them. So odds are even the small numbers who would have enough to buy the bags (need lvl 52/53 area to get the tokens for 1) mostly haven't bought them instead saving for the better rewards. And if anyone has bought them odds of them being a tip.it user are equally slim.

I'll go with these answers until people prove otherwise:

Only possible to buy 1, you have to pick up the gem then use it on the bag and can check the contents.

It's not that unlikely that people have bought them though.

They cost so little compared to the more expensive items, that you don't lose out on much by buying them.

Especially since until level 69 your xp rates increases very fast, so the 20k tokens you spared up before means very little, even though you used quite long time getting them.

You do realise that even the cheapest of the good items is 100k tokens which takes atleast 1mil xp to obtaining. Meaning lvl 1 - 83 at the very least without spending a single token is required.

1 mil xp is from level 1 - 73. There's a small handful of people who have gotten their dungeoneering levels above 73.

Break the Walls down!

I personally have enough tokens to buy both a gem back and a coal bag

so I don't think having enough tokens is a problem right now

I just don't think anybody in their right mind would spend their precious tokens on those rewards until they have a bone crusher, poison totem, arcane stream, etc.

You mention the poison totem. Would you happen to know whether these are 1 handed or not?

Tbh, poison is never really that much of a problem for me, I'm missing out on why everyone seems to be going made for the totem...

give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever

The only thing I could think of it being used for is Zamorak GWD where you get poisoned and it hits quite hard last I remember. Only been there once and it wasn't fun since I forgot antis.

99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving.

Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

Dks/PP/Monkeys on Ape Atoll come to mind.

Poison totem is deffo gona be awesome.

But so is bonecrusher.

After all consider all those slayer tasks where you never collect the bones (ergo everything tht aint a dragon) but culd easily sacrifice an invent spot.

Alright normal bones suck for xp, but when you eliminate the effort invovled in turning them to xp it will all add up slowly
